As soon as I felt Ty's hands leave my waist it was a battle zone. I froze my fists mid-air and landed strong and hard hits on the woman's face. I grabbed her body and tried to hold on and I slammed my hardened fists on her.
She toppled over and spun back, before stopping herself and landing back on her feet.
She shot her weapons at me and I spun myself on the floor. Shooting my own ice blasts at her. When she dodged, Simon appeared from behind her and flipped her over his shoulder and sent her back to the ground.
I gripped the concrete ground and flew myself forward. I gripped her mechanical foot and started to freeze it, hoping it would shut down.
I always wondered what it did, why it was so teched out when all I ever saw her use it for was standing. When I saw them glow a faintly blue I realized I would soon find out.
I felt a strong blast on my face before she flew out of our grasp and hovered a few feet above our heads.
"Hey guys, apparently she can fly!" Simon called out, looking up in a wondered state. I looked up for a moment, long brown hair falling over her dark mask and red goggles. I had a moment of hesitation, before I felt Simon jump on me and push me out of the way of oncoming fire.
Not of the woman, Burnham's fire.
"Don't worry. I switched them from when I shot your dog. They're non-fatal rounds." I looked over at him, aiming the gun at us.
"That's a shame." I spat, feeling my ice blocks forming as I sat on the ground. Growling at his dig at us, his dig at Macy. "Mine aren't." I shot an ice blast at him before looking at Simon fending off the girl by herself.
"Florida, take her down!" I yelled, I saw her teleport quickly behind me, then on top of the floating woman. Landing expert punches and attacks.
She was so small, so she could maneuver herself around her easily. I looked back to see Burnham running towards me, I gripped the ground tightly and watched as ice gripped onto his boots and froze him to the ground.
"Ty, can you picture a clock?" I asked him, while I had kept protecting him.
"Yea, why?" He said, standing there forming a built up blast of fire.
"Fire on your ten!" I ordered. He turned accordingly and shot at where I froze him in place. He moved quickly and barely missing the fireball. He shot at me then at Ty, I quickly dodged and yelled at Ty to duck. He was quick enough and moved out of the way.
"At your seven!" He shot again, hitting him in the shoulder. Burnham recovered quickly and looked up at me. Mixtures of anger and calculations filled his gaze, I dodged and rolled at his attacks and sent a few more balls of ice at him.
I heard a crash behind me and saw they had taken out the girl's flight abilities.
"Ty and Florida, switch!" I yelled.
"Aw, you don't like fighting with me?" Ty mocked at me, I rolled my eyes and told him to watch his six. He did so and almost hit her.
I watched as Florida teleported quickly behind Burnham and kicking in his legs. He turned to hit her but was retaliated with no one there.
Instead Florida was behind me, grabbing me by the shoulders and teleporting me to my chair. Being teleported was sensational and disgusting all at once, but I shook off the feeling and continued to fight.
I rolled my chair forward quickly and sent another blast of freezing ice at our attacker and sent him flying back. Florida appeared above him, preparing to take him out.
