Lizzie's POV
"Yeah, see you later Marie" I said, nodding at her before walking out of the coffee shop. My phone vibrated in the back pocket of my jeans- since I couldn't be bothered to rummage around in Summer's wardrobe for shorts this morning. I managed to manoeuvre my phone out of my pocket without spilling any of the drinks, and frowned at the text I'd received from Josh.
My ex is here. Can't think of how to get her to leave. Any chance you can hurry back and scare her :P No seriously she's here, and she's pissing me off. HELP!!! X
I rolled my eyes before sending him a quick text saying that I was two minutes away, and to tell the guys to come into the shop so that they could get their drinks.
I sped up so that I would arrive at the shop quickly and frowned at the woman I saw standing in front of Josh, who was sitting down on the stool. I watched as the three guys emerged from the back room, each of them stopping once they saw Josh's ex there. I bit my lip but walked into the shop and placed the cups down on the table. I'd already figured out a plan as soon as Josh had texted me, but I knew that it would be awkward for the both of us. Then again he had asked for my help. I picked up the cup that was for Josh and he caught my eyes over the woman's shoulder- I believe he told me that her name was Rebecca- before a small smile played on his lips.
Play along I mouthed and saw that he looked a little unsure but gave a slight nod of his head. I smiled and nodded before walking around Rebecca before handing Josh his cup.
"Here you go babe" I said kissing his temple before looking over my shoulder and motioning to the guys to get their drinks.
"If you think I'm going to give you your drinks then you can think again, only Josh gets my special treatment" I said and heard Josh snort quietly.
I slid my arm around shoulders and he looked up at me, before I placed a light kiss on his cheek, feeling my face flush slightly. He smiled at me and shook his head before I heard Rebecca clearing her throat. I jumped a little and looked at her, a polite smile taking over my lips.
"Oh sorry, I didn't realise we had customers. What can I say, I can't stay away from him" I grinned, leaning into Josh's side. I heard him laugh.
"Actually Liz, this is Rebecca" he said and I glanced at him before frowning.
"Rebecca this is Lizzie. She's my girlfriend" Josh said, and I could hear the amusement in his voice. I looked at the woman in front of me, while biting my lip, pretending to act as though I was trying to remember. I gasped and looked back at Josh.
"Rebecca as in your ex?" I asked and he nodded, not taking his eyes off her.
I looked back at his ex and saw that she looked fake. Her hair was dyed, and let me tell you whoever had done her hair hadn't done a very good job. She'd dyed it bright fiery red but it made her look trashy. It didn't help that her face was covered in make up that didn't compliment her hair colour. I frowned to myself wondering why Josh had been with her, because she looked like your typical 'fake bitch' kind of woman.
While I'd been studying her, she had also been studying me. I watched as she sneered after looking me over. It was then that I realised in comparison to her I looked quite plain. I wasn't wearing much make up, apart from mascara and a little bit of eyeliner- but I wore this nearly all of the time. I was also in my jeans and Down But Not Out tee, while she was wearing booty shorts and a cream, lacy vest top, which showed off way too much of her cleavage. Something told me that when she turned around, I'd probably also be able to see her underwear, because there was no way that her shorts covered her backside.
