"Wake up!" Summer squealed in my ear and I jumped, hitting my head with hers as she was kneeling next to me on my bed. I frowned and glanced at the alarm clock on the table next to my bed before groaning when I saw that it was eight in the morning.
"Summer go back to sleep" I murmured before turning over and covering my head with my sheets.
Summer and I had stayed up late into the early hours of the morning talking about how great last night had been, since we both had an amazing guy whom we cared about immensely. We even laughed at how rubbish Josh had been when he was on the hook-a-duck game yesterday but I still found it sweet that he was so determined to hook the duck just to win me a prize. Although I'd beaten him of course since I'd won two teddies on the raffle, one of which I had given to him while mine was on the floor next to my bed.
"No" Summer whined whipping the sheets off my body and I shivered at the sudden cold air before sitting up and glaring at her.
My eyes took her in and I saw that her hair was wet. Had she showered already then? I wondered before breathing in the scent of soap and hot air that wafted in from the en-suite next to my bed. How was it that I hadn't heard her moving around the room and showering? Well, I had been pretty tired yesterday.
"Alright I'm up" I groaned and Summer smiled before she hurried over to the cupboard thing and poured hot water into a cup for me. She stirred and handed me the cup and I sighed as I saw she'd made me my morning coffee. I took a gulp, feeling the caffeine fuelling my system before smiling.
"Come on princess, the guys called my phone just to let me know they were awake and heading down to breakfast in an hour" she said and I gasped.
"When was that?" I asked and she shrugged.
"Ten minutes ago" I bit my lip and climbed over my bed before sliding across the lino in the bathroom. I stripped off my pyjamas and hopped into the shower before scrubbing my body with my shower gel so that I smelt like lemons, and my skin was pink.
When I was a little sore from scrubbing my skin so harshly and my hair didn't feel so greasy from my sleep, I turned the shower off and dried my body before wrapping the towel around myself and walking back into the room. I selected my dyed blue skinny jeans along with a vibrant yellowish-green striped vest top. When they were on I paired these with my sandals- which probably weren't the best footwear to walk in but they were still incredibly comfortable and went really well with my outfit- and finally adding Josh's jacket over the top. I was planning on returning it to him today and had stuffed a little leather jacket into my bag in case he took it back, if he didn't I was planning on wearing his jacket again since it had kept me warm last night. Summer nodded her approval before she quickly massaged mouse into her fingers and scrunched my hair in her hands to bring out the waves so that my hair would curl naturally when it dried. After I applied a layer of mascara and eyeliner we were ready to go.
Summer stepped out of the door and I followed her before locking it behind us, just as Josh and Dan emerged from their room next door. We smiled at each other and Josh walked over to me before placing a light kiss on my lips.
"Morning girlfriend" he whispered and I smiled at him.
"Morning boyfriend. Did you sleep okay?" I asked and he smiled at me, wrapping on arm around my shoulders.
"Yep, best night's sleep in a while. You?" I shrugged.
"Yeah what sleep I had. Summer and I stayed awake for a while and she woke me up nearly an hour ago saying we were going to breakfast" I shrugged and he laughed.
"Well I'm sorry we disturbed your sleep but I could hear Dan's stomach rumbling even when I was still sleeping this morning. You look beautiful by the way" he said, winking at me and I blushed.
