"Hey Liz" Summer called and I looked up from my sketchpad to see her walking in through the door.
"Hey Sum" I replied, as I shut the book, but kept my pencil in the page that I was working on so I would be able to easily find it.
"You wanted me to come over?" she asked and I nodded while she looked around the shop, "-where's Josh?" she asked frowning at me and I rolled my eyes before motioning to her to follow me. She did as I asked and I led her into the employee's room.
"Summer's here guys" I stated and Dan looked up from his iPhone, probably playing some game.
"Really? Because it seems quite cold to me" he grinned and I shook my head at him as I heard Summer snort from behind me.
"Yeah, like I've never heard that before" she sighed and I stepped to the side to allow her to walk in.
When I'd finished work and had found Summer at home yesterday, I'd told her that Josh and his friends wanted to talk to her about something. I hadn't told her what and so she was definitely curious. I had a feeling that she might've been thinking something along the lines of free clothes, which I'd quickly told her that idea was ridiculous. I'm positive she wouldn't be expecting this.
I walked past Summer and headed over to where Josh was sitting on the chair, so that I could sit on the arm next to him. We smiled at each other and from my new place I was able to watch Summer intently. None of the guys were wearing their glasses so Summer had a good view of them. I saw her look at Josh before she glanced at me and winked slightly. I glared at her, while I saw her laughing, but she ignored me and looked at Matt then Max. Finally she looked at Dan and I saw that she looked at him for the longest amount of time. Max and I exchanged a look, where we both grinned at each other before I studied Dan, who was also looking at Summer intently.
"I'm so giving him shit about this" Josh whispered from my right and I looked down at him, at the same time that he looked up at me. We grinned at each other and I wiggled my eyebrows.
"I know what you mean, I'm so going to piss Summer off with teasing her tonight" I whispered back and looked up to see they were still studying each other. I giggled before clearing my throat, making the two of them jump and look at me. They both blushed before I stood up and walked over to my best friend, who was looking a little lonely standing on her own.
"Why do they look so familiar?" she whispered to me when I stopped next to her. I chuckled.
"It's good that they do look familiar Summer since I've told you so much about them" I rolled my eyes.
"Let me introduce you to Josh, Matt, Max and Dan" I said, gesturing to each of the boys in turn. I saw Summer thinking, trying to place where she knew them from. We all chuckled at her and she looked at me, biting her lip when she couldn't remember their faces or names. I rolled my eyes at her.
"One clue, I'm obsessed with them" I sighed, running a hand through my hair and blushing when they all snorted a laugh.
Summer glanced at them again before looking back at me, eyes wide.
"You mean? Are they? Seriously?" she asked and I frowned at her.
"What are you thinking?" I asked her and she whispered the band's name in my ear. I giggled at how nervous she was in case she got it wrong but I nodded when she got it right.
"Holy fuck" she gasped, looking at them again and I knew she was actually seeing them properly.
"I never would've guessed anything. I just thought you were all scared that you were ugly" she gasped and Josh and I laughed.
