"Hey Josh!" I called and he stopped from further up in the group before turning around to where I was standing. I waved him back over with my hand before turning to see that it was £2 to take a roll of ten photos.
"What's up?" he asked from behind me and I jumped, not realising he was standing behind me since I hadn't heard him. I turned around to face him and gestured to the photo booth.
"Can we take some photos?" I asked and saw him hesitate before he brushed a hand through his hair. I bit my lip and shook my head.
"You know what, it's okay if you don't want to. I just wanted a couple of pictures of today and I didn't bring my camera with me. I wasn't going to post them online or show anyone but it's fine, I'll go and grab Sum" I rambled taking a step forwards to chase after Summer. Josh stepped in front of me and smiled before taking my hand.
"It's fine" he stated and I called to Summer. I saw her stop and turn back around before I realised that we didn't have much time as the lights of the fair would be going out soon.
"There's a photo booth!" I yelled, making Josh wince and I saw her pull on Dan's arm before they started back to us, which would give Josh and I enough time to take our own photos as the rest of the group were near to the opening which led back out to the shops.
Josh led me inside and I saw that it was a little larger than the normal photo booths where you could have pictures taken for passports and bus passes and stuff like that. I perched on one end of the stool while Josh perched on the other, our legs pressed against each other. He pulled a two pound coin out of his jeans pocket and pushed it into the slot. The screen in front of us blinked on and we selected the kind of roll of pictures we wanted. It was your typical length of photos that you tended to see on those romantic films and music videos.
We took ten random pictures, consisting of us smiling, posing, sticking out our tongues, making faces and sticking our fingers up each time the light flashed. On one photo Josh stood behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist while he rested his chin on my shoulder and we both smiled into the camera.
When that was done I heard voices outside so I threw the curtain open to see everyone standing there.
"I'm hogging this a little longer. I've put more money in and want to take pictures with each and every one of you a well as random group photos" I announced nodding my head and Summer bounded in next to me where we took a photo, closely followed by Dan, Max, Matt, Chris and then the girls. When I was happy that I'd taken every possible picture I pulled Josh in for one last photo. We had to wait a while in between the photos though.
"I had a great time today" I announced looking up at him from my seat and he grinned at me.
"Well what can I say? You always seem to have a great time whenever we hang out together outside of work" he shrugged and I snorted.
"Cocky much?" I asked but knew he was right, he just laughed at my comment.
"I had fun too Liz. I never knew acting like a kid again could be so much fun" he shuck his head at me and I knew he was referring to our light sabre fight.
"Well that's the best thing about me. I act like a kid anyway so there's no reason for you not to. You should do it more often Josh, it was interesting seeing you have fun and acting younger than what you actually are" I shrugged and he smiled at me before I moved over so that he could share a part of the small stool with me.
"Lizzie?" he asked and I looked away from the screen announcing the five second countdown to look at him.
"Hmm?" I asked and his face moved closer to mine before he gently touched his lips to my own. My eyes closed and I kissed him back just as the light went off for the picture. We pulled away, both of us blushing.
"I'm sorry...I... I've wanted to do that since you pretended to be my girlfriend to help me get rid of my ex" he breathed and I smiled at him before ushering him out of the booth so that we could collect the photos since I'd used up all of the photos I'd paid for. I saw Summer and Dan walk into the booth behind us as we waited at the slot for the rolls of photos. I shrugged and looked up at Josh who looked worried.
"It's okay, to be honest I've wanted to kiss you for a lot longer than that" I swallowed and he smiled.
"Really?" he asked and I nodded suddenly feeling more embarrassed than I had in my weeks of working with him.
Things went quiet between us as the photos slowly exited through the slot and I took them out one roll at a time- I'd ended up having five rolls, which meant fifty pictures. Once I'd collected all five rolls I told the others we would wait for them back on the street we'd been walking along to return back to the hotel. They all agreed and after Josh and I had collected the stuff we'd won today, we started in that direction.
It took us a little longer to get back to the street full of shops because we were walking at a normal pace this time around, instead of racing each other. When we did arrive I saw how dark it had gotten in the two hours we'd been outside and at the fair. I sighed before standing underneath one of the streetlights to shuffle my things around so that I would be able to look at the photos. I placed my tiny teddy that Josh won, as well as our light sabres into my bag as we placed the teddies on the bench behind us while I looked through my pictures. I grinned and showed Josh the picture of us kissing he smiled back at me and grabbed my hips before pulling me to him.
"Liz, I really like you" he whispered as our faces were close together and I smiled up at him, so happy that he felt the same as me. My heart thumped in my chest at the fact that Summer had been right and that Josh did in fact like me too.
"I really like you too Josh" I breathed and he closed the gap in between us, sealing those announcements with a kiss.
I wrapped my hands lightly around his shoulders and Josh pulled me closer to him as his lips pressed more firmly against my own while he pressed my body to his, keeping me there with his hand which was applying pressure against my lower back. His hand slid up his jacket to rest on top of my vest top and he rubbed circles as our lips moved against each other's.
We hesitantly pulled away from each other and I looked up into his eyes as he winked at me and I gasped in air as Josh breathed a little heavier than me. I let my hand travel up from his shoulder to his face where I stroked his cheek, relishing the feel of his stubble against my sensitive skin before my fingers travelled down to trace the outline of his lips, which parted under my touch and I heard his breath hitch in his throat. I smiled and lightly pressed my lips to his again, not feeling as though I'd quenched my need for him. Josh hugged me against his body and I wobbled a little bit as I was standing on my tiptoes since he was much taller than me. Josh wobbled with me and we smiled into our kiss just as a bright light blinded me and I heard the honk of a car. We gasped.

Note: Dum, dum, durrrrrmmm. What could happen next?
Anyways I hoped you liked them, because I have to say that these chapters in London are some of my favourites in this book. Although I probably say that all of the time am I right? And how much do you all love me right now? =)
