Bay sat on the stairs of the deck that led down onto the grass. She knew it would be a pain to stand back up, but she was shaking and a bit overwhelmed. She didn't want to stress her Mom out more than she already seemed to be, but she also didn't want to start taking her medicine again.

She ran her fingers through her hair before sighing and leaning back a bit. She heard the sliding glass door open, and she turned around and looked and saw her father standing there.

"What are you doing here, Dad? I came out here like 5 minutes ago." Bay spoke, very well knowing that her father couldn't get from the precinct to the house in 5 minutes.

"I wanted to have dinner with you and your Mother, but I missed it," Elliot replied. He walked over and sat beside her and leaned back and laid beside her.

"I made Mom upset..." Bay whispered, and Elliot sighed.

"She's cleaning... you know how she gets," Elliot replied. Bay frowned before sitting up and pulling her hair back.

"I should go in and-"

"We need to talk about what is happening, kid. Like what happened." Elliot breathed, as he looked over at his daughter. He looked at her and realized that she wasn't going to be his youngest daughter anymore... Noelle is.

"Nothing, just a bunch of stupid shit. I'm gonna go upstairs and wait to see if I'm grounded for telling Mom no..."

"You told her no? I thought that I told you that we must tell her yes until Noelle is born." Elliot groaned.

"She wants me to just say that I'll take my medicine even if I don't want to. I told her that I wouldn't, and that is where I ended up saying no."

"Try for us, okay? Just try and take the medicine for about a month than if you don't like it what it does, then you can go off of it." Elliot spoke. He reached over and grabbed his daughter's hand. She sighed before looking at him.

"I don't want to, Dad. Please don't make me-"

"Elliot, in here. Now." Olivia ordered. Bay could hear how off she sounded, so she didn't look back to look at her mother.

"I'll see you soon if she lets me live."

Bay went upstairs and got ready for bed, even though it wasn't late enough for bed. Her parents talked in the living room about what Wes said, and how Bay responded to finding out about it. Olivia was overwhelmed and really hating raising a teenager at the moment, and Elliot had to remind her that Bay wasn't a normal teenager.

"Not every teenager has almost died and now doesn't have the full range of movement in her arm and leg. They don't take pain medication on the daily either."

"We are supposed to treat her like a normal teenager. We should decide things that she isn't ready to decide."

"Honey-"

"Oh, don't do that Elliot Stabler. No. Don't try and butter me up before telling me that we need to let Bay make up her own mind in regards to what chemicals she does and does not want to pump into her body."

"That is what I think though, Livvie. I said maybe that she could try it for a month again then decide-"

"NO!" Olivia yelled, and upstairs Bay turned and looked towards her open bedroom door with her eyes wide and her mouth wide open. It was super weird to hear her mother yelling like this, and sounding so angry.

"Okay, sit down and try and relax," Elliot spoke.

"I'm gonna go for a drive. I'll see you eventually, but not tonight. I want you to go back to work and leave me alone." Olivia growled, before pushing her hands hard against his chest.

Bay stumbled down the stairs and quickly limped over to where her mother was getting her shoes on.

"Please don't leave," Bay spoke, and Olivia tensed up when Bay touched her arm.

"Let go of me, Bay." Olivia spat.

"Don't leave when you are angry. Don't push Dad away when you know you want him to stick around. So, please, just don't leave. Just go up to bed and sleep on this. Dad can sleep in Dickie's room. We will all go to bed and then in the morning, we will eat breakfast and talk about this."

"Let me go, Bay." Olivia whimpered. Bay gently moved closer to her mother and wrapped her arms around her and hugged her. She rested her head against Olivia's shoulder before hearing her mother let out a loud sob.

No one would be leaving the house until they worked this out.

Bay couldn't sleep, so she sat out on the back porch again and watched as the stars sparkled and then when the sun finally rose.

She wasn't tired, surprisingly. But she was ready to hear her parents' argument.

"Did you even go to bed last night?" Olivia whispered, as she opened the sliding glass door and looked at her daughter's back.

"Nope." Bay sighed softly. She pushed herself up before stretching her arms above her head.

"Want some coffee?" Olivia asked, and Bay shook her head.

"No, but I'll make you some tea," Bay replied. Olivia nodded hesitantly before following Bay back into the house. She sat down at the island and watched as her daughter walked around and started to make tea. She didn't say a thing, she just watched. She noticed that Bay winced when she had to get on her tiptoes to grab the tea bags, and she also noticed how she would step to the side and spread her legs a bit to stretch out her hip.

"Please just try and take the medicine, Bay," Olivia spoke. Bay poured the water into the cup with the tea bag in it. She carried it over to her mother before she grabbed her own cup.

"I have no options. It's either I take the medicine or I take the medicine." Bay spoke.

"You maybe be getting older, but you are still my kid and I'm gonna tell you what to do until I see 18 candles on your birthday cake. Okay? Do you understand me?" Olivia breathed.

"Yeah, I understand." Bay breathed. She felt Olivia gently squeeze her arm, and Bay sighed.

"Can I-"

"Physical therapy and your medicine are going to help you get better."
