4 Months Later
Bay and Wes stood in the barn on his parents' property and swayed back and forth as they danced together for the first time as husband and wife. It had been a long four months, but eventually, they finally got to be together and it was perfect for them.
"Do you wish your father was here?" Wes whispered as he held his wife close. Bay turned her head and gently kissed Wes' cheek before speaking.
"I feel like our wedding would turn into a day all about him, instead of all about us." Bay breathed, and Wes nodded slowly.
"I think so too. But I think that our wedding is even more special because your mother got to walk you down the aisle and because you and I are married." Wes spoke. Bay smiled as she held on tighter to her husband until the song changed. Bay and Wes walked off the makeshift dance floor and to where their table was.
"Bay, I know that this is your big day and all... but can I have you hold Noelle for a bit while Eli and I dance?" Olivia asked as she smiled at her daughter. Bay nodded quickly and took her baby sister from her mother before Olivia and Eli walked to where others danced.
"I hope that one day we can have a baby as adorable and sweet as Noelle is." Wes breathed, as he watched his wife hold her baby sister close.
"Wes, we can be good parents even if you don't have two full legs, and I have a hard time using the left half of my body?" Bay asked, and Wes nodded.
"We will be great parents! And like... I'm good at running around still even if I have partially metal legs." Wes smiled, and Bay rolled her eyes before reaching out and grabbing his hand.
"You are going to be an amazing father, Wes. Like the absolute best."

After the wedding, Bay and Wes retired to the 'pool house' for the night. Bay was exhausted, but she still managed to stay awake when someone knocked on the front door to their small house.
"Mom?" Bay questioned, as she looked at Olivia and saw that tears were running down her cheeks.
"I sent Noelle back to the house with the other kids... and I was trying to help clean up after the wedding but all I could think about was that a little over a year ago I was getting married... I was the one doing this all. But now I'm a divorced woman with a baby and a daughter who is married and going to college." Olivia cried.
Bay stepped forward and gently caressed her mother's cheek before drawing her close and hugging her tightly.
"Mom, you are kinda drunk and that is making your emotions this wild. So I think you and I are gonna sit down and have some tea. Once you calm down you can sleep on our couch and you can head home tomorrow morning when you are feeling better."
"It's your first night of being married... I should head home."
"Mom, if you get yourself killed by driving home drunk, this night will be remembered as the worst night of my life. I'd rather have you here and talking to me about what you are feeling, instead of never being able to talk to you again." Bay spoke. Olivia clung to her daughter as she started to sob.
She missed Elliot so much, but then she didn't miss how he was.
"I'm sorry that I'm-"
"You aren't ruining our night, Olivia. We were just gonna pass out anyway." Wes spoke, as he came over and hugged his wife and his mother-in-law tightly in his arms.

That night and well into the morning was just Olivia and Bay. Wes ended up crashing on one of the couches, while Olivia and Bay continued to talk. They discussed the future the Bay and Wes were planning, and how no matter how busy their lives were, Bay would always have time for her mother and her siblings.
She wanted her mother to know that even if she might feel alone sometimes, that she never truly was. In the divorce, Olivia won the kids. They hated Elliot, so even if he has partial custody of the kids, they are never there with him. They are either at home with Kathy or at the house with Liv. Maureen has even moved back and started taking classes in town because she wanted to be closer to her family.
"Is Wes going to take classes at Columbia too?" Olivia questioned, as Bay handed her a mug of coffee.
"No. He's actually going to be doing training to become a mechanic. He really likes working with cars, and since I'm going to be a nurse he says I can make him money. He'll be the housewife of sorts." Bay smiled, as she sank down beside her mother and sipped her tea.
"Kids?" Olivia asked.
"Later in life. We have a plan, and we want to stick to it. I do know that Wes wants kids sooner rather than later. He commented on how he wants kids like Noelle."
"I just wish your father could be around to see how wonderful Noelle is and how absolutely amazing you are." Olivia sighed, before taking a long drink from her cup.
"You don't need him, Mom. Before you got married, you were an amazing woman. And you can be an amazing woman again without him. Trust me..."
"Says the girl that just married her soulmate..." Olivia mumbled.
"Yeah, but I'm still a person. I'm still Bay. Wes is still Wes. Mom, you are still Olivia Benson."
"He asked me how you were doing the other day..." Olivia breathed.
"You are talking to him?" Bay whispered.
"We have too... but it's just once a week so we can talk about Noelle... but he's wondering about you. I think he misses you." Olivia frowned.
"He can miss me all he wants, but I will not forgive him unless I can see him actually change. To promise to not hurt me again." Bay spoke. She stood slowly and kissed the top of her mother's head before waking her husband up and leading him to their bedroom.
Olivia just finished her coffee as tears welled in her eyes. She didn't cry, she just stared at family picture that didn't have Elliot in it.
