Life changed for Bay and Wes. Welcoming home their daughter brought a whole new meaning to their life together. They loved when they would walk in to check on Ivy, and see her laying on her back with her eyes wide open and a hand in her mouth. Or when she smiled for the first time and that smile didn't leave her rosebud lips when she moved her eyes from her mother and laid them on her father. She was a very happy baby, one that did manage to drive her parents nuts every once and awhile. However, she mostly brought them so much happiness and filled their hearts with love for the small baby that they wanted from the moment the pregnancy test showed a plus sign.
"Good news!" Bay exclaimed as she opened up the door to her mother's office. She had just left an appointment at the hospital, and now she had so many good things to tell her mother.
"I could use some good news right now." Olivia sighed, as she stood and walked around the desk so she could hold her granddaughter.
"Well, Ivy Blake can now officially stop using her oxygen at night. She now can also start going to daycare, and just in time for me to take exams." Bay smiled.
"My grandbaby will not be going to daycare while you are taking exams. She can be here with me while you are school and you can get here once you are done." Olivia replied, as she walked back around her desk and sank down onto her chair. She held her close and smiled as the 7-week old baby opened her eyes and smiled at her.
"Mom-"
"It's fine. I don't go out and investigate much as of late, so it won't be a big deal." Olivia smiled. She kissed Ivy's forehead before looking back up at her daughter.
"You spoil my baby rotten." Bay sighed.
"I'm supposed too. She's my grandbaby. I know that Shannon has been spoiling her too. Taking her on Thursdays and Tuesdays when you are supposed to be in class. She has sent me pictures of Ivy being adorable and I want a chance to make her jealous of my time with Ivy." Olivia smirked. Bay rolled her eyes before smiling.
"When I first got pregnant with Ivy, I didn't know if I wanted more than just one baby. I was nervous about if I'd ruin the kid when it got here... but she's 7 weeks old and I already want another." Bay spoke with a small smile.
"I'm sure Wes feels the same. But, I'd recommend waiting a bit. Make sure that you are both in the place to bring another adorable baby into the world. Now, did you eat lunch?" Olivia asked.
"No, I haven't. Why?"
"Let's go out and eat. I want to spend some more time with you two."

Bay took Ivy home and started to make dinner for Wes. While it was in the oven cooking, Bay worked on her online classes that needed to be finished soon. She held Ivy the whole time, and she did get distracted a few times because her daughter was beyond adorable and kept catching her eye.
Wes eventually came home later than he said he would, and he found his wife and daughter on the couch. They were both sleeping deeply, and Wes found it so hard to wake them up. He loved that his wife and daughter were already so tightly bonded and that Ivy absolutely loved her. He also was happy that Ivy didn't seem to have favorites. That she loved being cuddled and kissed by both of her parents.
"Bay. Beautiful girl, time to wake up." Wes breathed, as he sank down onto the coffee table and reached out and caressed his daughter's hair.
"You are late, Weston." Bay yawned. She opened her eyes and saw as Wes played with the only curl on Ivy's head.
"I'm sorry. There was an accident and one of the cars that got banged up needed to get looked at. So I looked at it and then came home."
"Oh. Well, I'm still not happy." Bay replied. She sat up slowly before passing Ivy to her husband.
"Did I mess up dinner?" Wes questioned quietly, as he held Ivy close and gently kissed the top of her head.
"No. I burnt it because I wasn't paying attention. I ended up ordering pizza so there is some in the fridge. I was just messing with you, I hope you know." Bay smiled softly.
"Good, because I really felt bad." Wes sighed. He looked at his wife for a long moment before she finally leaned forward and they shared a few kisses.
"So, how was Miss Ivy's appointment? And did the doctor say you are finally healed?" Wes asked as they moved to the kitchen. Wes sat down and Bay started to warm up pizza for her husband.
"They said that I am good now. My doctor actually asked if I thought we'd be in soon." Bay spoke.
"Well, do you want to be going there soon to get another pregnancy confirmed?" Wes asked, and Bay shrugged.
"No idea. But, good news for Ivy." Bay spoke, as she quickly changed subjects.
"Good news? Like really good news?" Wes asked, and Bay smiled and nodded as she turned away from the microwave. She leaned against the counter before smiling.
"She doesn't need her oxygen anymore. And she got the all-clear to be introduced to new germs and daycare is now a thing that she can attend." Bay spoke.
"That's awesome." Wes smiled.
"She's doing so good, Wes. So much better than I thought she'd be able to do. She's breathing on her own, and she's fighting the oxygen at night, and she's smiling and following us with her eyes. Wes, our baby girl is already growing up too fast." Bay spoke, and Wes smiled softly as he looked down at their child.
"When we were dating, I honestly imagined us having a bunch of adorable kids together. I'm so glad that my dream came true." Wes smiled.
"Me too."
