24 Hours Later

The first day was the hardest for Olivia. She couldn't stop thinking about Bay, and how she couldn't help her when she was ready to take her life. She didn't know that Bay was feeling so low, so she couldn't blame herself for not being able to stop her, but she called an ambulance and her life was saved. Elliot kept looking at his girlfriend, as he stayed close for the first day to make sure she had everything she needed, but she only wanted Bay.

"Eat something, please." Elliot begged, as he sat beside Olivia at her dinning room table. Olivia looked up from the bowl of soup and looked at Elliot.

"I don't think I can." She whispered, and Elliot frowned.

"You need to start taking care of yourself." He huffed a bit, which made Olivia start crying. Elliot couldn't deal with it anymore. He was trying to be supportive, but it was hard when she refused to listen to him or do anything he asked her to do.

Elliot stood up and went and gathered his stuff to leave. Olivia stood up on shaky legs and followed him to the door.

"I'm sorry that I'm like this, I just can't help it. I've never been so attached to someone in my life, and now that Bay almost died, I don't think that it's a good idea for me to try and be her mother anymore. Clearly I'm not doing her any good." Olivia spoke, and Elliot nodded.

"Yeah, I'm not either."

24 Hours Later

Elliot woke up on the couch of Kathy's house. Maureen sat a mug of coffee on the table in front of him, and sighed.

"You really need to go home to Olivia tonight, Dad. You have one more day to get your shit together so that when Bay gets released, she can recover and not get harmed more from this all." She sighed, and Elliot frowned as he ran his hands over the stubble that covered his face.

"We aren't good for Bay. Neither of us are. Olivia is-"

"An amazing woman who loves you and who loves Bay. You do realize that she is giving up being with any other man, and possibly starting a family of her own to be apart of your family, right? She is raising Bay, and you need to realize that if you are going to say bad stuff about her, you need to admit that you are just as shitty as she is." Maureen spoke, and Elliot sighed as he grabbed the pillow and pulled it over his face. He screamed into it, before tossing it to the end of the couch and looking at his daughter.

"Flowers?" He asked, and Maureen nodded.

"Probably at least two dozen." She spoke, before handing him the mug and standing. She walked around the living room and gathered up his phone, wallet, and keys, before sitting them on the table in front of him.

"She's a good woman, Dad. Just remember that."

Elliot left before Kathy got up and he headed to Olivia's favorite flower shop. He purchased an arrangement of flowers that he knew Olivia would love. He then went to the French bakery down the road from her apartment and bought a half dozen donuts, so she could decide what one she wanted and he knew he would probably eat the left overs. Maureen was right, he needed to apologize and figure everything out before Bay was released tomorrow night.

Elliot parked behind Olivia's car, and then he got out and grabbed the flowers and donuts before heading into the building. He was nervous about seeing her, since he hadn't seen her since the day before.

Elliot knocked on Olivia's door, and after a few long moments, she opened it.

"Elliot?" She questioned, and Elliot frowned.

"I'm sorry, Olivia. I love you." He spoke, and Olivia sighed before stepping forward and wrapping her arms around his neck. She kissed him deeply, and he knew that she had forgiven him.

24 More Hours Later [The Night Bay Gets Released]

Elliot and Olivia drove to the hospital and arrived an hour early. They waited outside in their car, and both were thinking about what would happen next. If Bay would want to come home with them and take her recovery into her own hands, or if she wanted to get more treatment from an in patient program where she could go to therapy everyday and be around people who were going through the same thing and could help her.

"I hope she picks us." Olivia sighed, as she looked over at Elliot. He nodded slowly as he reached over and gently ran his fingers over her thigh.

"I do too. I don't remember if I told you, but Maureen and Lizzie want to try and have a relationship with her. They want to see if they can fix some of the problems that have occurred since she came into our lives."

"They do?" Olivia asked, and Elliot nodded.

"You knew before I did that those two would be the nicest." Elliot chuckled, and Olivia smiled.

"I love you, El."

"I love you too, Livvie. Now, do you think they will release her sooner if we go in?" Elliot asked, and Olivia nodded.

"I hope that she missed us as much as we missed her."

Bay ran her hand over her wrist, where there was a bruise from the restraints. She walked down a very bright white hallway. Two male nurses were on either side of her, and she knew that they had something to sedate her if she freaked out. She saw them tuck one of the syringes into their pockets.

She waited by a door, and it buzzed and she was allowed through. Waiting outside of the door were her parents. Her parents both looked exhausted, and I bet they could see the guilt on her face. She walked over and signed out, before getting all of her stuff back. She walked over to them and swallowed hard.

"Hey." Elliot breathed, and Bay gave him a small nod.

"Hey. Uh, before I can leave, I have to talk to you guys about what is coming next." Bay whispered, and Olivia nodded before stepping back a bit. They all found a few chairs and sat down.

"So, what is coming next?" Elliot asked as he held Olivia's hand.

"I either have to do therapy three times a week, try and accept that this isn't really going to change, like our family and all, and I need to talk to Loren again and address my feelings. Or I have to go to this hospital upstate where minors go for help... it would be for a while, and it's expensive." Bay breathed, and for the first time since she sat down with her parents, Olivia spoke.

"No matter how expensive it is, any of this, whatever you want to do, we will make sure it happens."

"So, if I want to go home with you guys, you'd be okay with it?"

"That's where we want you to be," Olivia whispered before she stood and then leaned down to hug Bay. Bay stood up and clung to Olivia as she started to cry.

"Thanks, Mom."
