Mia clutched on the windowsill harder as her eyes were dilated out of the window. The smoke escaping his lips floated up in the air, over his head as the stick went between his lips again.

She was supposed to go to eat lunch but when she saw him standing there outside the school she couldn't help but stop by and watch him. He was alone. 'Stop by' may have been the wrong word since Mia had been standing by the window for far too long. She got zoned out as she stared at him.

It was just something Mia was fond of eyeing him, the way he just did a simple move made her heart flutter, although it was pretty creepy but Aiden didn't have to know about that.

Plus, he said he didn't mind.

Mia let out a soft sigh as she rested her head on the palm of her hand while looking at Aiden with dreamy eyes. Just as she was expecting him to inhale the stick in his mouth as he had done for quite some time, he unexpectedly turned his head to the window she was standing at, locking eyes with her. Mia's eyes went wide in fear as she bolted to the lockers to hide behind while blushing like crazy.

He caught me staring! Oh my god. Run, run, run!

Mia started to jog away from the window in panic, down the hall, and to make it look more natural she cleared her throat awkwardly. Well, now Aiden knew she was watching him like a freak. How was she supposed to face him now of what she just did?

The blush was still glued to her cheeks as she felt her phone vibrant in her pocket. Taking it out she was greeted by no other than her best friend.

Maddie: Rude asshole thought he could trip me over by putting his fatass foot in front of me to, I don't know, annoy me or somethin' like he was telling his "FRIENDS". Anyways, I gave him a book punch right across his ugly face and now I got detention. Like can you believe it?! I got detention for that?? I'm gonna fucking tell!

Mia giggled at Maddox's rant just as she felt two strong arms snake around her waist. She dropped her smile as a nervous frown appeared on her face and her heart pounded against her rib cage.

The arms wrapped around her pulled her closer from behind, a hug that felt firm yet it was still space to breathe; a hug of a strong diamond grip, no place to escape from.

She felt the familiar hot breath hit her ear right before she heard a deep voice, the one that made her all blushy inside and out, "I caught you staring." The very familiar deep voice whispered in her ear as her breath got stuck in her throat.

He noticed!

Mia swallowed thickly as she blurted out, "B-But I caught you staring back."

As she felt pressure on her back, Aiden began to move the two of them forward, still his arms around her waist in that diamond hold. He hummed softly as they walked slowly forward, "yeah? For how long? Fifteen minutes? An hour? Seven minutes?" Aiden proceeded with all the numbers softly, lips against her ear making Mia feel her cheeks burn up.

Mia was confused by the sudden touch he was giving. This was the first time he had held her this long and to her surprise and embarrassment, she didn't want him to let go.

Mia cleared her throat as she was thinking of her answer. What was she supposed to say? Yes, I've been staring for an hour? And it didn't help that his lips were too close to her ear to distract her whenever she started thinking.

"W-Well-" She didn't get so much time to proceed with her answer as she got thrown off by Aiden pushing her gently in the bathroom stall. The gesture of Aiden's arms once were wrapped security around her waist was gone and she was left confusing in her mind.
