Aiden grasped ahold of Mia's small hands. His thick fingers wrapped themselves around her hands, giving them a gentle squeeze before he supported her out of his huge black car, grumbling something that she would hurt herself again if she even tried to step a foot out the car before he got there. Mia didn't complain, just simply sitting in the passenger seat, a little traumatized of what happened earlier, and waited for Aiden to come to the other side and helped her out of the car.
She had to admit his car was kind of enormous and she almost fell backward when she was going to take a step into the car but luckily Aiden was behind her and grabbed ahold of her hips before anything bad could happen. Mia remembered that she glimpsed back at him, staring into his warm brown orbs watching while his arms were tightly wrapped around her waist.
"Be careful, Mia." He said.
And she swore then and there that her stomach was flipping pancakes and goosebumps spread all over her body when his hot breath met her skin. She swallowed thickly, a blush spreading on her cheeks, nodded, and stepped into the car with Aiden's help, of course.
Throughout the whole ride, she kept speculating about Aiden's diamond warm arms that were tightly wrapped around her waist, like iron. His touch seemed to linger on her more than it should but she was totally fine with that because his touch felt so nice, better than she had ever felt. Not that she had had any physical contact with any other male like that but she could sense that it was something different about Aiden, something good.
Mia realized now that she was too curious to know where they were going and she remembered asking, "w-where are we going?"
But all Aiden said was, "It's a surprise."
She pouted sadly and grumpy turned around to look out the window, earning a deep sigh from Aiden and it almost made her smile for some unknown reason but then she remembered that she was mad so she bit the inside of her cheek stubbornly and gazed at the trees that passed by.
And soon the car stopped rolling and Mia instantly straightened up her form in the chair, curiosity was now her priority. Her hand gripped the handle eagerly of the door but then froze when Aiden spoke in that deep intimidating voice he always had, "If you even try to step out of the car before I get there, I'm gonna drive you home faster than you can say "fall". Understood?"
So here she was, standing on gravel ground, feeling soft brief of air hit her skin. Aiden released her hands smoothly and closed the car door behind her, her face close to his chest, that tall he was.
Aiden was huge, no argument in that. He had muscles almost bigger than her head and his whole figure could be three times bigger than her. Aiden was always the one that towered over anyone. She had never seen someone bigger than him and maybe that's why everyone was terrified of him, never picking up a fight against him because they knew they were going to fail. Just the look of him screamed "danger".
And his tattoos didn't help either.
Because Aiden was so tall made her look like a nobody and shorter than ever. Her head made it just to his shoulder if she really tried to stand tall.
While Aiden stepped aside from her, she gazed around to see where they were. For all, she could see was trees, high green trees, and a small gravel path that led to God knows what.
They were in the forest.
"Come on," A brief of air tugged on Mia's hair, making her tuck in her hair behind her ear while she watched Aiden with curious eyes nod to the path and started to walk deeper into the woods. She followed behind him, gazing at stones and bushes that they strolled by.
