Chapter 19

The next morning when Jughead opened his eyes, he felt the warmth of the Northside Princess in his arms. "Good morning Ronnie" he whispered in her ear. Veronica's eyes fluttered open and she smiled as she took in Jughead's scent, remembering their passionate night before. Veronica rolled over to face Jughead, kissing him on his cheek. He blushed. "Last night was-" He began to say, before Veronica cut him off. "Amazing" she finished. "But Betty and Archie can't know" She continued. Jughead sighed. "Vee, Archie and Betty did the exact same thing to us and we were pissed. How can we be so hypocritical?" He asked. "You're right" She answered. "But they can't know" She said. Jughead sat up in the bed. "We owe it to them" he said. Veronica got up and began to tie her robe back around herself. "Okay, love" she agreed. He nodded as she left the room and closed the door behind her.
     Breakfast was insanely awkward. Veronica had been sitting, chewing on her avocado toast when Archie came into the room. "Morning, beautiful" he said. "Hey" she replied. He opened the refrigerator and dug through the drawers. He was about to sit down with his oatmeal when Betty came into the room. "Vee, can we talk?" She asked. Veronica sighed. "About what?" She replied. "Please" she pleaded. Veronica got up from the table and brought her dishes to the sink, following Betty out to the front porch. "I know that what I did is unforgivable, but I really am sorry" Betty said, her voice breaking. Veronica moved closer to Betty. "I know you are" she said. Betty felt a ray of hope in her heart. "But I need time to get over this" Veronica continued. Betty looked down. "I understand" she replied. "But just so you know, there is something going on with Jughead and I" Veronica admitted. Betty looked disgusted. "What the hell Vee?" She screamed. "I thought you'd understand-!" Veronica started. "What did you guys do?" Betty yelled. "We just kissed a couple times!" Veronica lied. Betty put her face in her hands. "I can't believe you" she said. "You did the same thing with Archie!" Veronica yelled. "It's so different Veronica!" Betty replied, her voice horse. "I'm sorry B, but do you really think you have a right to be mad? You took Archie from me, twice!" Veronica said. "You're right, it's just a lot to take in" Betty replied. "Okay, I think we should just try to make the most of today, we leave tomorrow" Veronica suggested, calmly. Betty nodded as the two walked towards the house.

Sorry this chapter is more of a filler but I needed this to happen lol plus ya got some jeronica fluff in the beginning which isn't common in this story. okay byee ilyy
