“Oh no, what’s the problem this time?” Justin laughed as he listened in.

“Remember the girl I told you about a few months ago? Pretty in Pink?” I asked.

“Well Nancy does look kind of pretty in pink.” Justin said, quietly.

“Hey!” I shouted. “Focus!”

“Okay, the girl Andie right? How is she, is she okay?”

“She’s more than okay man. She came to 30 Rock yesterday for an interview to be a writer at Late Night. But they didn’t have openings anymore so me and A.D. were hanging with her yesterday. Now she has the job, but I mean she’s so amazing.”

“Wait.. so you like her?” He chuckled a bit.

“Yeah, is that bad?”

“Why didn’t you just say it, man? No that’s not wrong, why would it be wrong?”

“Well.. she’s 22 I think.”

Justin stayed silent. “Oh is that it? Listen man, so what. She’s far past 18. She’s a female. She’s a grown woman, you’re a grown man.. it’s not a big deal. If she likes you that’s all that matters right? Go for it!”
“I hooked her up with one of my interns tonight.”

“What? Why?”

“I wanted to see if her being with someone else would make me forget these feelings. I don’t know.”

“Well great job genius. What if she ends up liking him?” Justin sighed.

“I don’t know, man. This isn’t high school.”

“I think you should just take it slow, she just started. Show her around the office, be a gentleman.. just show her your personality and throw a little bit of my game in there. There’s no way this won’t work.”

“Your game?” I laughed.

“Hey man, Jessica Biel’s my wife. I think I got game.”

Andie’s POV

“So, what were you at 6B for yesterday?” He asked as we waited for a lane to open up.

“I was interview at Late Night, but Lorne sent me to The Tonight Show. And after spending the day with A.D., he hired me.”

“That’s cool! I wish I could work there, my internship ends next week. And no one’s talked about hiring me yet.”
“Oh that sucks. I’ll put in a good work to Jimmy if you want?”

“You and Jimmy are cool like that, huh? How?”

“Long story short, he helped me out a bunch a few months ago. I was pretty screwed and now I’m not thanks to him.”

“That Jimmy is a great guy. He bought the entire building, not just us. But the whole building, coffee and donuts to celebrate his Emmy win. He really cares about everyone.”

“Yeah, he does.” I nodded. I couldn’t take my eyes off of this dude, or figure out anything to say. Poor guy was pulling random questions out of his ass.

“Have you ever been here?” He looked around before locking eyes with me again.

“No, but it’s pretty crowded. I’ve never seen so many people in Brunswick shoes.” I laughed.

“Let’s get out of here. I feel bad because Jimmy paid for this, but I’ll take you somewhere else.”

“Let’s just walk around. Everything’s gonna be packed tonight.” I suggested.

He nodded and I followed him back out into the congested streets of Times Square.

“I can’t believe I’m here.” I said, looking up at the lights and glamour Times Square had to offer.
