I woke on the couch with Jimmy’s arms wrapped around me. I turned around and saw him sleeping peacefully. His hair was going every direction. I smiled at the sight of him. His eyes fluttered open and he smiled back.

“Sorry.” I tried to laugh off the fact that he caught me staring in his face.

“No, no you’re fine.” He blinked once or twice before gazing in my eyes.
We continued to stare at each other. His lips were as red as roses, and very enticing. I didn’t know what we were doing, but I felt like this was the next right thing to do. I leaned in and touched my lips with his, he kissed back and soon I was straddling his waist playing tongue wars with him. I pulled away quickly and put the palm of my hand over my face.

“What are we doing?” I asked.

“I’m so sorry. This was uncalled for.”
“No, I kissed you first. I’m the sorry one. I think I should go.” I climbed off of him and walked to the door where my shoes laid. I slid them on and looked over at Jimmy, still looking dumbfounded.

“I’m sorry. I’ll see you tomorrow okay?”

“Yeah, yeah. Be safe.” He nodded, pretending to smile.

I nodded and walked out of his apartment, before closing the door behind me.

I rushed out of his building and power walked all the way to where my car was. When I finally found it, I got in a slammed the door shut. I leaned on the steering wheel, trying to catch my breath. I don’t even know what just happened, it felt good, but I shouldn’t have done it. Now I’ll never know if he sees me as just some piece of ass or an actual contender to be with him.

“This is your office, if you have any questions mine is just down the hall here. It’s good to have you here Andie.” A.D. smiled as he pointed me to my very own office at the Tonight Show. I sat my purse on my desk and my box of stuff on the floor. I walked to the window and stared down at all of the people on the Avenue of the Americas. This city was certainly home.

“Hey, you need anything?” I heard Ethan’s voice. I turned around and smiled.

“Hi! No I don’t, it’s my first day I won’t be ordering you around yet.”

“Honestly I don’t have anything to do right now, you might as well take a chance.”

I shook my head. “I have nothing for you to do.”

“Oh okay. You look great today.” He leaned against my door, attempting to look cool.

“Thanks, now go find some work to do because I have to get started.” I giggled.

He nodded and smiled. “Gotcha. I’ll see you at the meeting.”

The meeting. Shit, I’d run into Jimmy today. I was just hoping to jet home before the taping, but I’ll have to see him 24/7. I pulled my laptop from my bag and sat it on my desk. I sat down in my chair and began typing out some ideas. Soon enough, after I got into my zone it was 11:15am. The meeting started in 15 minutes. I grabbed my phone and walked out into the hallway and waved to Arthur Meyer.

“Having a good first day?” He asked.

“Yeah, productive I’d say.”

“Good! We wanna hear your stuff!”

“You will.”

He gave me a high five and I continued to the staff kitchen and made myself some coffee. While waiting for coffee, Mike, A.D., John, and Jimmy all walked in.
