i wondered if i would ever find someone who would lift me up

i wondered if i would ever take a chance

i wondered if i would ever be capable of holding your attention

i wondered if i would ever take that next step

i wondered if i would ever stop worrying about
the timing

i wondered, and i still do.
but the answers to these questions have been answered since then
and new questions have taken their place as we begin

it's funny how we wonder about these things
and even funnier how these curious thoughts
come to unravel in the most unexpected ways

so while i still wonder, i can say that i also know
