I wish someone would be for me like I am for other people.
I wish someone would take care of me like I take care of other people.
I'm just tired of always being that person for everyone when nobody is that person for me.
I want late night adventures with Waffle House and getting home at 3am, I want early morning breakfast at the doughnut shop on the corner, I want neon lights and roller skates on a Friday night, I want pink flushed cheeks on a warm summer's evening as we walk around a park.
But more than any of that, I want someone who cares. I want someone who undoubtedly shows up for me. I want someone who is fair and reciprocates everything I do for them. I want an equal amount of time and effort put in from both sides of the relationship.
I'm just tired of the lop-sided, unfair, disproportionate relationships that I have across all fronts.
I'm tired of being used.
