CH 7 Exhausted

Big time jump

James's POV

The messages that Danny sent Mason kinda hurt but I understand, he is doing a lot better where I am not, neither is anyone else in the pack back home.

Mom called me and said people were starving and that we need Danny back to at least train the other omegas to cook and clean. I have no idea if he would go for it.

It's been almost a year and a half now since we have been out and were now out west in Washington and had no luck here so far in finding him or Mason's mate.

I am close to giving up. This trip has been hell on us and we're tired and want to go home but, there really isn't anything to go back home to. We are surviving out on this trip better than we would at home right now.

Mason has been great in helping keep my spirts up because not having a mate is taking its toll on me. I regret rejecting Danny more now than I did almost two years ago.

Were on our way to Oregon now and thankfully the first pack isn't to far into the state because it is late and we're hungry and tired.

About two hours later after entering the state we arrive at a massive pack ground. It's at least two miles long with a ton of houses and a huge pack house and a lot of land. Big gates surround the land.

I pull up to the gate and a tall muscular man with a shorter but just as muscular man is standing there.

"Hello who are you and what is your business here?" The tall one asked me.

"Hi, I'm James Jackson from the blood moon pack back in VA and my friend and I have been on a quest for the past almost two years looking for our mates." I said to him and he nodded and went into an office looking place and picked up a phone and few minutes later he comes back out.

"You can go on up. The Alpha and the Luna will be waiting for you at the main house. You can't miss it."

"Thank you, sir." He nodded and the gate opened, and I drove through.

"Holy shit dude this place is fucking huge and beautiful!" Mason said excitedly and I had to agree. The trees were tall and so green, and the grass was just as green, and the sky looked so open and dark here. This must be the most impressive pack ground we have seen yet.

I pull into the drive way to the main pack house and see a lot of cars parked and one catches my eye, I have seen that car before but I can't place it. We get out of the truck and stand for a minute to take a look around.

We head to the door and there is a tall man with black hair and blue eyes with tattoos and a woman who is about five six with short blonde hair and green eyes.

"Hello, welcome to the silver moon pack. I am Alpha Mike, and this is Luna Marie." Alpha said extending his hand and shakes our hands. The Luna gives us a hug and we bow our heads in respect.

"Welcome boys, please come in and let me get you something to eat. You must be famished." Luna Marie said taking us by the arms and taking us inside.

We step inside and I hear a lot of laughter coming from the living room. Sounds like a party.

"Oh, don't mind the boys, they are having a sleep over and they just got done playing with those silly nerf guns and are getting ready to watch a movie. They even made forts out of pillows, blankets and the couches. After you are finished eating you are welcome to join them. They are very nice boys." Alpha Mike said as we entered the kitchen.

"That sounds good. It's been a while since we have been able to just relax. This trip has been a long one." I said as we sat down at the massive island.
