CH 32 Old friend

Danny POV

I told him everything that's happened up till Jake. I'm getting there slowly. It's taking some time to get through everything.

"How is Tommy treating you?" He asked, and I can't help but smile.

"He's amazing. He has been my rock and I can't imagine being here without him. Being here is hard, A lot has happened since we got here also. I found out my son I thought had died six years ago is alive and well. His name is Jake and he is so beautiful. He has big bright green eyes and dirty blonde hair; he is tall for his age and he is so sweet and kind. You would adore him."

"Wait back up, you had a kid at fourteen?" He asked, and I sighed.

"Well I didn't know I was pregnant until I woke up at the pack doc's and was told I was and that he had died. I had no idea I could even get pregnant. I tried the best I could to explain to Jake, that's his name, I tried to explain this to him and ever since yesterday evening he hasn't spoken to me. He ran out of the room after he sort of yelled at me. I understand though, it's a lot for a child to take in."

"I'm sorry son, I'm sure he will come around and talk to you when he is ready. Just give him some time, he will come around."

"That's what dad told me after Jake ran out of the room. When I found him, I saw me. I saw me tied to that damn table, hurt and scared. I saw it all over again, it's like I was living through it all again. He wouldn't let me put him down, he clung to me like his life depended on me. He was by my side or in my arms most of the time until yesterday. I just want to hold my son and tell him I love him." I had to wipe the tears again, I miss my son.

"Could you maybe be at the house when we get back? I would like to see you." I asked after a few minutes of silence.

"Really?" He asked, I can almost see his smile.

"Yes really. I want to have a relationship with you, I want to start over. I want to move on from everything because now I understand that you did try and that you were around at times. I'm sorry for flipping out on you and your beta, it was a hard-emotional time for me. I feel horrible for how I treated you and I didn't even give you a chance to explain anything to me. I shut you out after I flipped out."

"It's ok, I understand. You had a hard life son so I understand. I will be there I swear."

"You can bring your beta, I need to apologize to him face to face, man to man."

"Of course, son. When do you return?"

"Well soon because I want to get out of here. I think maybe tomorrow or the next day. We were going to stay another week, but I don't think I can handle that."

"Alright, just let me know for sure and I will be there before you get back to greet you when you come back. Son, I love you."

"I will, I love you too dad." I said and I felt my heart swell at him telling me he loves me and me him.

"Alright, you go and plan to get back home and I will see you soon."

"Ok, talk to you soon dad. I love you."

"I love you too son, so much." With that, we hung up.

I sighed. I got up and walked back to the house. I walked in and I was greeted with little arms to my legs and I looked down and saw Jake looking up at me with tears in his eyes. I picked him up.

"Hey what's wrong?" I asked him.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to run out on you yesterday. Please don't leave me here." He said and wrapped his arms around my neck and held on tightly.
