CH 28 Everything will be ok Danny

Tommy POV

As Danny was holding a sleeping Jake, I felt my heart break for them both. It was so hard seeing Danny so broken, being here is getting to him and now with Jake, it's making it a lot worse.

"He needs to see the pack doctor; I need to find out what exactly is wrong with him and to find out what he has been through." Danny said softly, not wanting to wake Jake.

"Let me see if I can get Randy to get one here, I don't trust anyone here to look at him." Alpha Mike said and Danny nodded. Danny got up from the bar stool and carried Jake up the stairs and I followed behind, not leaving either of them alone. He stopped in front of a door and looked at me, I opened it and he tried to lay Jake down, but Jake just held on tighter as he felt himself being lowered so Danny sat on the bed and laid down with Jake on top of him. I crawled in bed with them and pulled a blanket over us.

"He won't let me go, it's like he's worried if he does, I will leave, he's scared which I understand. Tommy I'm so worried about him, what if he was hurt like raped like I was? What if he is so traumatized that he won't ever let me go or let anyone else near him? I understand the fear but he's six years old, he shouldn't even know what the hell that kind of fear even is. I swear if they hurt him like that, I will rip each and every single one of them to shreds." He said looking down at Jake, rubbing his back lightly.

"I know, I feel bad for him. At least were here and he's safe, that's all that we should focus on at the moment. We will deal with everything else later, for now though he is safe and warm. If he wasn't content, he wouldn't be sleeping on you. He's comfortable with you Danny." I said looking at Danny and saw a tear escape his eye. I reached over and gently wiped it off, feeling those amazing sparks at our connection and I smiled softly, and he returned it.

"I love you darlin." He said looking in my eyes. "I love you sweetheart." A few minutes later there is a gentle knock on the door, and it opens. Alpha Mike is in the doorway with another man whom I assume is a pack doctor.

"Hey son, got someone here to look at Jake. Come on let's go to the pack hospital." He said and Danny nodded. I got out of the bed and helped Danny sit up with a still sleeping Jake. We walk down the stairs and go outside and walk behind the man toward the infirmary and we get to a room and Danny sits on a chair with Jake while we wait for the doc to start.

"Ok I'm Doctor Snyder, could you please put Jake on the bed so I can examine him?" He asked Danny. Danny stood up and laid Jake down, not letting go of his hand as the doctor starts his exam. He looks over Jake's body and makes notes as he finds injuries and notices how small he is for his age. He looks up at Danny.

"I'm going to take some blood from him, don't worry I have spray to make the area numb, so he won't feel a thing. I'm also going to do a DNA test on him, every pack member has DNA in my system so I will be able to figure out who his parents are. From there we will be able to find them or find out what had happened to them, if anything at all." Danny nods and looks at Jake as the doctor sprays his arm and wraps an arm band above his elbow and gently taps his veins to find one to draw blood.

"I'm also going to have to do a private exam on his lower body to make sure he wasn't hurt in any harmful way." When he says that Danny tenses up a little, but I put my hand on his shoulder to calm him down before he over reacts before we even know anything. He just nods and we turn our backs so the doctor can do his exam.

About fifteen minutes later he is finished with everything and he walks out of the room after telling us he will be back in a little bit with the DNA results and the results of his bloodwork and exam. Danny sits on the edge of the bed and gently runs his hand through Jake's hair softly smiling down at the beautiful little boy.

"You are strong, you will be ok, you will make it through this. You have me and Tommy plus my family and a whole lot of other people who will love you and be there for you, no matter what. You are safe now Jake, you are safe I swear to the moon goddess you are safe now." He says and gently kisses Jake's forehead.

I sit and enjoy watching him with Jake, he is acting like a mama to this little boy it's tugging at my heartstrings. I know exactly the kind of mama he will be to our pups one day, a sweet gentle loving mama bear who will protect his children above all else which is exactly what Jake needs. There is a soft knock on the door and the Alpha and Hunter enter the room and they walk over to Danny and the Alpha takes Danny into his arms and holds him tightly.

"Are you alright son?" He asked and Danny shook his head no and the Alpha sighs and closes his eyes. Hunter kisses Jake's forehead and holds his hand, giving Danny a break to himself with his dad.

"The doc said he will be back in a bit with the results of his exam blood work and the DNA test. I'm worried about him dad, I look at him and I see me, I see exactly how I was when I lived here. You want a look at my past just look at Jake and you will see it for yourself. Only I was just 4 years older but still young. I hope and pray he didn't go through much because he is a child, he is innocent. He is just a child." Danny sobs into the Alpha's chest and he holds his son as he holds onto the Alpha for dear life. I had to wipe the tears that fell form my eyes off my cheeks because my heart is breaking at the site of my love breaking down and the way he sounds hurts my heart.

"I know son I know. We just need to take this one step at a time ok, just know that they will not get away with what they did to you nor him. They are in the process of taking them out of the pack, meaning getting rid of the pack bond and making them all rogues. We have the children which aren't many at a hotel with the female omegas to take care of them. After they are all out except for Marc Paul and Alice, this place will be no more. You got what you wanted as punishment. After we are done here, they are waiting on you to take care of them three, anything you see fit, they support you fully." Once he said that Danny stopped sobbing and whimpered softly and looked up at his dad and smiled an evil grin. He winks and nods at his son and smiles back at him but a gentler smile with love. A few minutes later the doc walks into the room.

"Ok so I have the results. His exam to see if he was taken advantage of is negative, he was not raped which is what we want. His blood work shows he's ok, he's under weight and he has some brushing and a sprain on his wrist and ankle, he has bruised ribs, other than that he is ok. It will take some time for him to heal but a week at best, he may not have a wolf yet but he is still one so it won't take to long to heal but not fast as it would be either of us. Now the DNA test." He says and he looks at Danny. I sit beside him, and we wait the news.
