Part 6

~A few Days later~

Betty's P.O.V

I was currently going back and ford doing stuff for Jughead. He was at a meeting currently while I was taking care of some files at the moment.

Just then my office phone rang.

B-Hello?

H-Betty

B-Hey dad, everything alright?

Before my dad could speak Jughead came walking in.

J-Betty I need you in this meeting.

B-Alright I'm coming

B-Sorry dad I have to go

H-Always using that excuse Elizabeth Cooper

B-Bu-

Before I could even say anything else my dad hung up. Great. Ever since I started working for Jughead, things became a little more stressful.

Because of that I haven't been able to talk with my parents. My dad mostly. I know he is mad at me and his probably furious now and I know what he's going to do to me.

I got up and went to  the meeting room.

Once it was done I decided to use my lunch break and go to my parents house. I called his secretary and she said he was working at home today so I decided to there.

I finally arrived and went to knock on the door. Toni opened the door and we greeted each other and she took me to my dads office. Oh boy.

Jughead's P.O.V

Today was just full of meetings. I checked the time and noticed that Betty should have been back from her lunch break.

I got up and went to check her office, empty. Just as I was about to call I saw Betty walking towards me. She looked frighten.

J-Hey Betty

Just then she looked up. She had been crying

J-Betty is everything alright?

B-Yeah. I need to get to work

She then began to walk again but I then touched her shoulder and winced in pain.

J-Are you alright Betty?

B-Yeah I just hit my shoulder that's all

Before I could ask anything else she entered her office. I then walked back to my office and sat down. What the hell happened?

It was time to go home now. Mostly everyone has left, some stayed to finish work or begin their work for the next day. I walked up to Betty's office and knocked.

B-Come in!

I opened the door and saw her working on her computer

J-Ready to go?

She looked up and nodded her head. She got up, got her purse and we both then began to walk out.

We were on the car and I was just thinking about what happened earlier. I guess I was thinking a lot because I noticed that we finally arrived to our home.

We got out and headed inside. I went to my office since I had to look for a file real quick that I have to sent to Mr.Cooper tomorrow morning.

My maid came in and told me the food was ready and I told her that I would be there in a few minutes.

I left my office and went to the dinning room. I looked around and Betty wasn't here

J-Has Betty come down yet?

M-No sir. Should I go get her?

J-No it's fine I'll go get her.

She nodded her head and I went upstairs. I finally reached our room and opened it and was shocked from what I was seeing.

Betty turned around and had tears in her eyes

B-Jug

She was only in her bra and underwear, but the thing that I was looking at were the scars she had in her body....
