Betty's P.O.V

J-I'll text you when I land okay?

I sighed

B-Alrighty

J-Love you

B-Love you too

He gave me a kiss before leaving the house. He had to leave for business so now it was just me at moment. Next thing I know, the doorbell rang.

At first I thought it was Jughead, since he is always forgetting something. Then when I opened the door, it was Gladys with a very smiley Jellybean.

JB-Betty!

I kneeled and opened my arms, welcoming her in

B-Hey. How are you doing?

JB-I'm doing well!

She giggled a little before I stood up and greeted Gladys. We then headed towards the living room.

G-So Jughead just left?

B-Yes he did

Usually in business trips, I would have to go with him, but not anymore.

G-So do you like staying here when he goes to his business trip?

B-Not really.

The only reason why I don't fly out with Jughead when it comes to meetings, is because he hates it that I'm pretty much the only girl in the room.

Most of the times.

G-Well you know Jughead. When a room is full of business men and a beautiful lady walks in, it gets caos.

I chuckled a little. Jellybean, who was sitting next to me, was busy watching the screen that was playing a cartoon. We talked for a bit until Gladys looked down at her watch.

G-Oh my look at the time. I have to get back to the office.

JB-Can I stay with Betty? Please?

Gladys looked at me

B-She can stay if she wants

G-Are you sure?

B-Of course! Then I won't feel so lonely

Jellybean was jumping up and down, begging her mother to stay

G-Alright you can stay

JB-Yes!

G-But be good alright?

JB-Yes mommy

We said goodbye to Gladys. Once she left, Jellybean dragged me to her room. Jughead decorated her room the way she wanted it to be so she could feel at home.

At the corner of her room, she said a playhouse and next to it, was a box where she kept her dolls. She kneeled and took some of the dolls out

JB-Lets play Betty!

I smiled at her and took a doll from her hand. A few hours past by, and I decided that we would have takeout today. While we waited on the food, Jellybean chose a show to watch.

I heard the doorbell ring so I quickly got up and opened it. I gave them the money and thanked them.

B-Food has arrived!

I saw jellybean getting up and came towards me. We decided to sit on the floor since we did want to watch t.v. I handed her a burger and fries, and I got the same thing.

My phone buzzed in the middle of it, and it was a message from Jughead

Jughead: Hey, how are you doing?

Betty: I'm doing well. Jellybean is staying over so everything is okay

Jughead: That's nice. Did you eat already?

I smiled at the screen.

Betty: Currently finish the budget and fries

Jughead: You are eating what! Without me ☹️

Betty: Sorry babe, maybe when you come home

Jughead: Alrighty. I'm going to sleep now, tomorrow is a big day

Betty: Alrighty. I love you

Jughead: I love you too, say hi to Jellybean for me

Betty: Will do

I put my phone down and Jellybean was looking at me

JB-Who were you texting?

B-Your brother.

JB-What is he doing?

B-His going to sleep now, and he told me to say hi to you

JB-Okay!

I chuckled at her. We finished eating and then we headed upstairs. She brushed her teeth before going to sleep. I did the same thing, and fell into a deep sleep....
