Part 23

Betty's P.O.V

I woke up and rolled over the bed, noticing that Jughead's side was empty.  My eyes opened and I sighed. I stood up and entered the bathroom. This has been happening for the past month. He doesn't want me to work, leaves early and comes home late.

I don't want to over think it, but at this moment I really am.

I'm going over to Veronica's place, and stay there. Each time I've tried to talk to Jughead he won't reply to anything. Grabbing a bag, I threw some clothes in their and closed it. I changed afterwards and left the door.

When I arrived, Veronica was waiting for me. She's about to go to labor soon, so Archie and her were getting ready for that.

V-B!

She pulled me to a hug which made me chuckle. When she closed the door, we walked to the living room where Archie was sitting up. He stood up and hugged me as well. He pulled away form the hug and noticed the bag in my hand.

A-Veronica didn't tell me you were staying?

V-Oh.. That's what I forgot to tell you

Veronica chuckled a little and Archie just shook his head. We all sat down.

A-Is everything alright? Not wanting to be mean or anything, but why are you staying over? And don't lie to me Betty because I know that it isn't for a sleepover

B-Jughead has been acting weird lately. I mean, it's been a month and he began leaving early and coming home late. He doesn't even let me go to work anymore. He doesn't even reply to my messages, answer my phone calls or talk to me in person

Veronica pulled me into a hug while I look at Archie. He didn't look happy. He looked mad

A-I'm going to talk to him

B-No! Please no, I'll deal with it

A-Betty things aren't right.

B-Just don't please, I'll deal with it

He was thinking for a bit before nodding his head, making me sigh

Archie's P.O.V

I know I promised Betty I wouldn't go after Jughead, but I am. I told the girls that I forgot to pick something up for the store, but I'm paying a visit to Jughead. If that son of a bitch is cheating on Betty, than he might as well say goodbye.

I've known Betty long enough, and she's known about everything that has happened in my life and Veronica's.

I got out of my car and headed inside of the building.

A-Hello. I'm looking for Jughead Jones

She gave me the information and I headed to the elevator, going to the floor she told me to go to. When I arrived, I passed by his secretary who was yelling at me. I opened the door to reveal Jughead sitting at his desk looking through paperwork. He looked at me

J-Hey Archie. What are you doing here?

A-What the hell is wrong with you!

J-What are you talking about?!

A-Don't be stupid! Why the hell are you ignoring Betty!

J-I'm not!

A-Stop lying! Betty came over and told me about your situation. So either tell me what's going on or I'll have another way to get it out of you....
