Jughead's P.O.V

I sighed and knocked on the door. I heard Veronica yell 'I'm coming.' Soon she opened the door while holding Luke who looked to be tired.

J-Hey

V-Hey come in

I entered and heard Veronica close the door. Veronica and Archie knew about the date I'm taking Betty to.

V-Betty! Your date is here!

Luke began to cry, so Veronica began to bounce him. A few seconds later, I heard the sound of heels coming down the stairs. Then there she was.

It's been so long since I've seen her.

V-I'll leave now

Betty and I saw Veronica walk away. I turn to look at her.

J-You look gorgeous

B-Thanks

J-Ready?

She nodded her head. I put my hand out and she looked at it for a few seconds until she took it and we walked out to my car.

J-Reservation under Jones

The lady looked through the names and told us to follow her. We sat by a window. I pulled Betty's chair out for her and thanked me. A waiter came and gave us a menu before leaving.
After a while, he came back and we told him our order before leaving.

J-So.. How have you been?

She sighed.

B-Okay I suppose. I've mostly been helping Veronica with Luke. And you?

J-Well you haven't been by my side, so not well.

Betty just nodded her head

J-Why did you leave?

She didn't say anything.

J-Betty please tell me.

B-Are you seeing someone else?

What? What type of question is that?

J-No. I'm not betts. Why would you think that.

Before she could respond, the waiter came with our food. He placed it down and left. I looked at Betty who was beginning to eat.

J-Betty.

She looked at me.

J-Why did you think that?

She sighed.

B-For a month straight you've been leaving early, you don't want me to go to work with you, you come home late. What else do you want me to think! I'm I not enough for you?

I was shocked. I quickly went to her side and wiped the tears that were falling.

J-No. No betts. You are everything to me. I never meant to make you feel like that. I will kill myseld before I even think about cheating.

B-Then why have you been telling me to go to work? Or you coming home late and leaving early?

J-Now that is a surprise that I've been doing for a while.

She looked confused.

B-What surprise.

J-For a while now, I've been thinking that I don't want you to work as my PA. I want you to work beside me, as a boss too.

Betty looked even more confused.

J-Were married betts, I'm the boss, and I want you to be next to me. To help me make the decisions and see what's best for the company.

B-So you never cheated?

I chuckled

J-No. I've been trying to find a new PA and working on getting you a office next to mine.

Betty looked down.

B-I'm sorry I assumed things.

I put two fingers under her chin and made her look at me.

J-It's okay. It was my fault for not saying anything. All I'm asking now is for you to come home.

B-Okay

I smiled and leaned in to kiss her.

I've missed her.

I looked around to see some people looking, and I sent glares, not in the mood for anyone to ruin this. I sat back down on my chair and we began eating. There was laughter going on. Betty explaining to me on how Luke peed on Archie when he tried to change his diaper.

We left the restaurant and headed home. The moment we step inside the house, I pulled Betty into a kiss. Initiating a make out.....
