Part 9

Betty's P.O.V

It was the next day now. I woke up and my body still felt sore but not as bad as it was the day before. Today I would be going to go and find my wedding dress.

I was still in bed and Jughead was still sleeping. I still wasn't sure on what was going to happen with the events that took place yesterday.

My thoughts were broken when I began to feel Jughead stir. He shifted a little before slowly opening his eyes.

B-Morning

J-Morning

He then gave me a peck on my lips

J-How are you feeling this morning?

B-A little sore but besides that I'm fine

J-Would you like to take a bath?

I thought about it and then nodded my head. Jughead then gave me a kiss and left to go to the bathroom.

I picked up the book from my nightstand and began to read a few pages waiting for Jughead to leave the bathroom.

After a while he came out and came towards me. He closed my book and placed it on my night stand. He tried to carry me but I wanted to walk if I wanted to get better.

I slowly got up and he helped me get to the bathroom

After I finished my bath we ate breakfast and Jughead went to the office since they called him. I was currently downstairs watching t.v while I waited until it was time to go.

It's been a while now, and I decided to get ready since my mom was almost here.

We were now at a dress shop. Gladys, Toni, Veronica, Jellybean, Polly and my mom are here. So far I have only looked at the dresses displaced. Looking around there were a few dresses that look nice.

W-Hi, how may I help you ladies today?

B-We are here to look for a wedding dress

W-Alright.

The worker went and picked up a picture album book.

W-If you would like you can go through and see if you can find any dresses you like

B-Alright thanks

The worker nodded her head and we were now looking at the pictures.

A-This one looks pretty

G-This one is pretty too

After a while we finally have 6 dresses that I would like to try on. The worker came back and went to look for the dresses.

W-If you could follow me ma'am to the dressing room

I nodded my head. I took off my jacket and purse and follow the worker.

The worker helped me put on the first dress. Once it was on we left and everyone's eyes where on me

After trying on the dresses I was trying my last one. The others once a weren't really my liking once I was wearing them. If we can't find a dress today then we will have to come another day, and it will more stressful since the wedding is soon.

I walked out of the dressing room and everyone turned to look my way.

Jb-You look beautiful Betty!

Everyone else nodded and said 'yeah.' I looked at the mirror and indeed it was beautiful.

B-This is the one I'll take.

Once I paid for it. Mrs.Jones took it to her house since I will be staying there. I finally arrived home and said goodbye.

I opened the door and headed towards the kitchen where Jughead was.

B-Hey

J-Hey, how was it?

B-It was fine, just tired.

He then came up to me and wrapped his arms around me...
