Part 43

Jughead's P.O.V

It's been a few days and we are finally home. I asked Chris to send me anything important since I will be working from home for a while. The twins have been doing well, though at night, it's a nightmare. Betty was currently taking a nap upstairs while I'm downstairs in my office. The twins are on their bouncers next to me since Betty needs to rest as well.

My parents have come visit most days to check in and help. Jellybean was always excited to see the twins, and talk to them. Veronica would also come along with Archie and Luke. Luke would play with his toys, and every now and then go to the twins bouncer and look at them. The only people who haven't come in at all to even see the twins have been Betty's parents. Betty didn't say anything about it, but you can tell that she is upset about it.

I kept responding to emails when one of the twins began to cry. I stand up and picked up Willow. I began bounce her and she began to calm down a little.

She's probably hungry.

She opened her eyes and looked right into mine.

J-Well hello there.

She cooed and moved around a little. The door opened and Betty entered.

J-Hey

She came up to me and gave me a kiss.

B-Hello.

Willow let out a squeal, which made Betty and I look at her. Betty took her from my arms and she sat down to feed her.

B-Veronica texted me that they are going to come over.

J-Well, my mother texted me that she is coming over as well.

She looked up at me before looking at Zach who was moving around a little. He sleeps more while Willow wants to stay up more. They both share my appetite though. Soon after, Zach woke up and Betty took him to feed him as well. I took Willow from Betty and headed upstairs to change her diaper. When I finished, Betty was waiting and handed me Zach. Their was a knock on the door, so we both headed downstairs. I opened door and sure enough, it was my mom. She hugged me before going straight to Betty and the kids. I said hello to jellybean and my dad who were both carrying bags that contain food. I closed the door and followed them. As per usual, my mom was holding both of the kids.

JB-Betty!

My dad took the bags from Jellybean, and she ran to Betty.

B-Hey!

We all went to sit down and talked for a while before we decided to eat. When we were about to go eat, someone knocked on the door.

B-It's probably Veronica.

J-I'll go get it.

I headed towards the door, and didn't expect this person to be here.

J-Mrs.Cooper?
