Part 8

Jughead's P.O.V
Betty was currently laying on my bed while the doctor was checking her. I was standing there nervous, worried about my girl.

The doctor then stood up which grabbed my attention

J-Is she alright

D-She is. Thankfully none of cuts that were on her body were deep. Some will turn into marks. She should wake up in an hour or less

J-Okay

D-Any other questions?

J-No, thanks for coming

D-No problem Jughead

I then saw him leave the room. I went towards Betty and sat on the bed.

J-Why didn't you tell me anything beautiful?

I felt my tears wanting to leave. The wedding was going to be in a week and a half. Why did she even let that monster hurt her?

Betty's P.O.V

I slowly was opening my eyes. Thankfully the lights in the room weren't bright so it wasn't hard on my eyes. I looked around and I was in my bedroom?

Then I had remembered what happened and how Jughead saw everything. I tried to sit up but because of my wounds it was hard to.

The door opened and revealed Jughead carrying a tray with food. He saw me and placed the tray on top of the dresser and came towards me

J-How are you feeling?

B-Sore

He then kissed me on my forehead and looked into my eyes. It looked like he was crying

J-So I'm guessing that when I saw your scars the day before was because of him wasn't him. Don't lie to me Betty, I need to know

I just nodded my head.

J-Why does he do this to you?

He was caressing my arm and I slowly began to sat up.

B-I've tried to make him stop and he wouldn't. I've tried telling my mom and she would call me a liar. The only people that believed me were my sister, Veronica and Toni.

I looked away from him feeling ashamed of myself. I then felt him pull me into his chest

J-As long as your with me, he won't hurt you and I promise you that. Whenever you go to his building there will be a body guard with you

B-No Jug I'm fi..

J-There will be a body guard with you okay?

I sighed and nodded my head knowing I wouldn't win this battle. I wrapped my arms around him and enjoyed the silence until Jughead broke it

J-If we weren't having this deal I would have totally cancel the deal, but we both know we can't do it

It was true. If we were to break the deal before the marriage it would cause big loss for both companies.

J-Are you hungry?

I nodded my head and Jughead got up. Without him the side he was on nkw was cold. He then brought the tray and place it down.

He then began to feed me

B-You know I can feed myself right?

J-I know but I want to do it.

B-I feel like a little kid now

J-You always act like one

B-Hey!

J-I'm just joking

We then laughed until he finished feeding me. He quickly went to drop them off downstairs and I tried to stand up. I did and slowly began to walk wanting to take bath.

Jughead then walked in the room

J-Betty your suppose to be resting

B-But I want to take a bath

Just then he went silent. I was still looking for a shirt before I squealed when Jughead picked me up bride style and took me to our bathroom.

He placed me on the counter

B-I need my clothes you know

He left the room and came back with a shirt of his and my underwear.

B-Thanks

He turned the water on and once it was work he pull me down

B-You can leave now

J-Alright if you need anything yell for me okay?

B-Okay

I took my bath and then left the bathroom. Jughead was laying in our bed, he turned and looked at me.

I smiled at him and headed towards the empty spot on the bed. I laid down and put my head on his chest. He stiffed a little since he would usually hugging me from behind at night.

He wrapped his arms around me and I slowly fell asleep....
