" So pumunta ka dun kahapon? Kaya ba ang tagal mong nakabalik sabi ni Kianna?" EJ asked me. Nandito kame ngayon sa resto na pagmamay-ari niya to grab lunch and few bottles of beer.

" I--I just went there to see, kung okay na siya" I answered

" Hindi ba nagtaka si Jhoanna?" she retorted back, I shake my head as I took a drink of my beer.

" You should thank me, on the spot nakaisip ako ng palusot para sa kanya para lang di magduda si Jho bakit siya aalis" Kianna butted in and EJ shook her head as she drink her beer

" Tangina after how many year saka mo lang naisipang I-check kung okay na siya? For what Bea? That when you saw her doing good already the guilt will be lessen since the day you left her hanging?"

" No. No it's not like that"

" Maybe Bea here wanted to see if Maddie is seeing someone already" Kianna butted in once again.

" Para saan pa? Ikakasal na si Bea. Di na niya dapat pangpuntahan at tignan kung okay lang yung ex niya. And beside Bea should've done that nung kakabreak pa lang nila, hindi after 4 years kung kailan ikakasal na siya."

" Well I wasn't really planning on visiting her, it's just that... yesterday I've heard her name habang nagfofood tasting kame ni Jho" I utter

" From Whom?"

" Lisa, our caterer, They're good friends, I guess" I answer, nagkatinginan naman silang dalawa then both looked at me at the same time.

"WHAT???"

"Bei, hindi kaya..." Kianna started

" What?"

" Hindi kaya kailangan mo muna siyang makausap, bago ka magsettle down with Jhoanna? I mean, you two never had a proper break up, maybe you need a proper closure to set things right"

" No, I don't think so, it's been years just like you mentioned, maybe this is just a test for me if I'm really serious on settling down with Jhoanna"

"And what's the result of that? Are you really serious about Jho?" Kianna asked me. I was frozen, I cant find the words to answer her back so I decide to open another bottle of beer.

" Patay tayo diyan.." EJ utter.

" Better make up your mind Beatriz, the time is ticking down" she added.

After we eat and drink on EJ's resto I decide to just go home, I've had enough of their sermons for today and I don't want them to corrupt my mind. Seeing Maddie yesterday was nothing. I just wanted to make sure that she's okay. And based on the what I have saw yesterday I think she is okay. Having a handsome boyfriend na lamang lang ng 1 paligo sakin.

I was surprised seeing Kuya Loel's car parked outside my house. Ever since he died Ate Lara seldomly visit me. She and their Son Theo went to live in Singapore after Kuya Loel's first death anniversary. Nandun na din kase ung trabaho ni Ate Lara, so I am very shocked to know that they are here.

" Is that you Bei?" I heard Ate Lara's familiar voice.

" Yup, the one and only" I answered her, she went out from the kitchen and gave me a smile she even gave me a tight hugged.

" Good to see you ate, kamusta? Kailan kayo dumating" I bombarded her with questions

" We arrived last night, I took a month long leave since I have to prepare for Loel's 5th death anniversary" she answered

" Oh yeah, it's been 5 years already"

" Where's Theodore?"

" Tita Ninang!!!" I heard him shout. I looked at where his voice comes from and grinned when I found him running towards me. He gave me a crushing hug and attack me with kisses I return the favor by kissing him on his head.
