After a horrendous reveal of her previous relationship, (y/n) goes to live with her brother, Phil Lester, and his flatmate, Dan Howell. She hopes to begin rebuilding trust with the people around her, but will her ex become a problem once more?

"(y/n)! Phil! You're finally here," Mum was the first to greet us at the door when we finally arrived. She engulfed the two of us into a hug, squeezing tightly as if we were going to disappear when she let go. We hugged her back, laughing softly.
"It's good to see you too, Mum," Phil replied. She let us go and looked us over from head to toe, giving us a nod and stepping inside. We followed close behind until we were both stopped by Martyn, our older brother. A huge smile appeared on my face and I quickly hugged him. I hadn't seen Martyn in... forever, truthfully.
"I missed you," I mumbled, my smile staying in its place.
"I missed you too," He replied. Martyn let me go and turned to Phil, giving him a hug as well. We chatted for a minute before making our way upstairs to our rooms, making sure to put our things away before properly sitting down with our family and talking about all of the events that have transpired since we had last seen each other.
Entering my room, I noticed how nothing had been changed. The posters of old shows I used to watch were still hanging on the wall, pictures of my old friends and family sat on my old desk. And my bed! I set my bags on the floor and jumped into the neatly made bed. A proper bed that I can actually sleep in! Not just a pull-out couch that's in the gaming room. I laid on my back, taking in the feeling and realization of actually being able to sleep in a proper bed once again. I was brought out of my delirium when someone knocked on my door.
"Come in," I said, refusing to move from my comfortable position as the door creaked open. Phil poked his head in and began to laugh.
"Are you enjoying a proper bed for once?" He asked. I nodded before stretching out and getting up from the bed. Phil rolled his eyes and left, making his way downstairs, myself following close behind. Mum, Dad, and Martyn were all sitting on the lounge as Dad was trying to set up a Christmas movie on the TV. I sat down by Mum as Phil sat by Martyn, and we all proceed to watch as Dad tried, and failed, to work with the TV. Phil finally stepped in after a while and set up the movie, and we all sat back. We were a few minutes into the movie when I realized that there were no snacks for this movie. I quickly excused myself from the lounge and made my way to the kitchen, letting my family watch the movie while I gathered snacks.
I opened a few cupboards and searched through them, finally finding some microwave popcorn and a huge bag of crisps. I put a bag of popcorn into the microwave while I grabbed two large bowls, pouring the crisps into one bowl and the bag of popcorn into the other. I popped one more bag of popcorn before pouring that in as well. I was about to go back to the lounge when a ding sounded from my phone. Placing the bowls down on the counter, I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and clicked open the home screen.
An unknown number appeared on my screen with the message below hidden. Out of curiosity, I opened the text.

I almost dropped my phone after reading the text. The pet name was a clear telltale as to who had sent this text message, and it disgusted me. But there was a layer of fear hidden under that disgust. How he had found my number was far beyond me, as I changed it as soon I cut everything off from him. I was frozen in my place, staring down at the text, when Phil came into the kitchen.
"Hey, you've been in here for a while, where are tho-" Phil stopped when he saw the look of disgust and fear written all over my face. "What's wrong?" He asked, stepping close to me. He looked at my phone, staring at the text as I spoke.
