Curled up in my pyjamas with a good book; one of the best ways to spend my weekend, in my opinion. Calmly reading with soft instrumental music in the background was great, until it was interrupted by Dan barging into my room and throwing my coat at me.
"Wha- Dan!" I protested.
"Get ready, cause we're going on a date," he said.
"We have to go outside?" I whined. Dan chuckled before responding.
"Yes, but I promise it will be fun," he said, closing the door behind him. I let out a sigh, closing my book and getting up. Placing my coat down more gracefully than Dan had, I made my way over to my dresser, searching to find something comfy yet casual. Quickly changing and putting on some shoes and my coat, I made my way downstairs and met Dan at the door.

He reached his arm out towards me and gave a small smirk. "M'lady," he said, using his poshest accent ever. I stifled a laugh and rolled my eyes, taking his arm anyways. Dan led me outside and opened the door to the new car the three of us had gotten a few days ago. During our drive to the unknown location, Dan let me play my own music. We sang only to various random songs before we arrived at an arcade.
We both got out and quickly made our way inside. It wasn't long until we were battling each other at Dance Dance Revolution. As sad as it was, I lost to Dan in the end. Then again, it shouldn't have been much of a surprise. We moved on to a few other games before Dan brought me to our second location. We pulled up to a Shake Shack, which put a smile on my face.
We ordered our shakes before Dan pulled me outside. We began to walk around before we finally reached a park. "A park, huh?" I asked. He gave me a small nod, grabbing my hand as we walked.
"A nice, romantic walk, if you will," he said, taking a sip from his shake. I giggled a little, taking a sip from my own.
"Romantic? I mean, you never know. You could be randomly mugged. Or stabbed," I joked. Dan rolled his eyes at me, though his smile remained. Cutie, I thought.
"What was that?" He asked.
"Did I say that out loud?" I panicked, hiding my mouth behind the shake. Dan began to laugh as he nodded. "Oh my god! I'm going to hide forever now, goodbye!" I said, removing my hand from his and walking behind a tree.
"Oh, (y/n) come on! It's cute!" He said, following close behind. I shook my head but was quickly stopped when Dan placed his shake on the ground and grabbed my face in between his hands. I stopped for a moment, staring at him. What is he doing? I wondered. My thoughts were answered quickly, however. Leaning forward, Dan gave me a quick kiss before pulling away. "It's cute," he said, leaning down and grabbing his shake. He held his other hand out, which I took hesitantly.
"You're sneaky," I mumbled. He nodded in agreement as he held my hand. We continued to walk for a while before I felt my phone buzz in my back pocket. Removing my hand from Dan's, I grabbed my phone and looked at the incoming message. It was from Officed Summers. I quickly opened the text to see what he had to say.

I stopped moving instantly, feeling almost frozen to the ground. "Holy shit," I mumbled. Dan looked back at me, confusion written across his face. I showed him the message Landon sent me as tears began to roll down my face. After reading the message, Dan looked up at me and smiled. I let out a sob. I was finally free from that maniac. Dan pulled me into a hug, rubbing my back.
"It's going to be okay," he whispered. I nodded into his chest, trying to calm my tears down. I was free. I didn't have to worry about Isaac for ten years.
