--YOU--

Once I woke up from my short nap, Dan had me change before Dan and I left to go to the police station. Apparently, they wanted me to come in as soon as possible. When we got there, I was instantly told to take a test before going in and giving my statement. After taking the test, we had to wait for a bit in order to get the results and then talk with an officer.

After waiting, Dan and I sat down with an officer by the name of Landon Summers. "Now," Officer Summers started. "We got your test results back, and they're positive. If you could start from the beginning of this whole situation, that would be great." I gave a small nod and pulled out my phone, opening the messages Isaac had sent me all the way back in Christmas.

"It all started when my brother and I were visiting our family in Manchester for the holidays. It was a little scary at first, but it got worse later that night when he sent me this message," I said, showing my phone to Officer Summers the text that had confirmed Isaac was stalking me.

I see you finally picked up your phone

Though I would suggest that you're brother move out of the way

He's blocking my view...

"After that, he left us alone for a while, but then it started up against as we began to move house. We wanted to move because we were scared he knew our previous address and would come and hard one of us. The day we moved into the new house, Dan was... kidnapped," I mumbled. Dan put his hand on my thigh, rubbing small circles with his thumb. Showing Officer Summers the image that was sent to me, as well as the stream of texts that followed, I could tell he became a little uneasy at the site. He looked up and motioned at the image.

"And this is you?" He asked Dan. Dan gave a nod before adding to the conversation himself.

"Yes. It is," he mumbled. Officer Summers nodded, letting me continue with my retelling.

"I was told not to contact the police, or Dan would get hurt. So I met with Isaac at a nearby Starbucks and, in order to bring Dan back home, I went with him to his apartment. What I didn't really expect was the abuse I was about to endure," I said. Pulling up my sleeves, I showed him the bruises and scars that covered my arms. "There's even more, but they're all over my body," I mumbled before continuing. "And then, earlier today, he drugged me and... and he rapped me," I finished. Officer Summers nodded, letting out a sigh.

"Alright. Well, if I could have your phone for a moment?" He asked. I nodded and handed him my phone once I unlocked it. He plugged it into his computer and began to upload the messages onto his computer. As they were uploading, he took his own phone out. "Could I take a few pictures of the bruises?" He inclined. I nodded and showed him my arms once more, giving him a full view of the marks that riddled me. He snapped a few images before placing his phone back down and thanking me. "I will tell you this. With everything you've told me ad the evidence given, I'm almost 100% positive that Isaac will be going to jail for a long time."

Giving him a smile, Dan and I stood from our seats. "Thank you so much," I said, wiping a tear from my eye. Officer Summers stood and shook my hand.

"I'll get back to you when any updates come. Now go home and get some rest. You need it," he said. I nodded, thanking him again, and began to walk away. Dan followed close behind, grabbing my hand on our way out.
