The next day, I was in the cab and on my way to Starbucks. I looked out the small window and thought over every possible scenario that could take place. Would Isaac be compliant and give me Dan's location? Would he refuse? Will he hurt me?

I didn't have that long to think, however, as moments later the cab pulled up and dropped me off outside the Starbucks. And, low and behold, Isaac was sat at one of the small round tables outside. I took a deep breath, trying to process the fact that someone who had been stalking me, my ex-boyfriend, was sitting right there. Isaac caught sight of me rather quickly, and his expression instantly lit up. I hesitantly made my way to the table, sitting in the chair across from him. He quickly reached for my hand, taking it into his. I quickly became uncomfortable from his touch.

"Star, thank you for coming to see me," he said, a smile spreading across his face.

"Isaac, please don't call me that. It's making me uncomfortable," I said, beginning to pull my hand away from his. He held on tighter, however. The pressure began to hurt.

"I'm sorry. And I'm sorry about the past. I should have never done such horrendous things to you. I regret it all. Please, (y/n), I want--no, I need you back in my life. I can't live without you," he said. My comfort levels fully dropped to zero, and I was ready to leave and go home. But I couldn't.

"I'm sorry, but I can't. I lost all trust in you and everyone else around me because of what you did to me. You ruined my life, Isaac. Why do you think I would want to take you back?" I retorted. He opened his mouth to speak again, but I quickly interrupted him. "Look, I'm only here to bring Dan back home. Please, Isaac, I need to know where he is." Isaac paused for a moment before letting go of my hand. I retracted it back to my chest, rubbing it from the slight pain for the pressure put on it.

"Do you love him?" Isaac questioned after a moment. My eyes widened and I became speechless.

"I-I wouldn't say love, exactly," I mumbled, looking down at my lap. I felt my face heating up from the words I spoke. A slap on the table made me break out of my flustered mindset. Looking up, Isaac's happy demeanour was replaced with a fully enraged one.

"What the fuck is wrong with you? Why would you pick such a fucking low life? He makes YouTube videos for a living, (y/n)! And barely any for that matter! Seriously (y/n), why him?" He yelled. I drew back slightly but gathered myself to respond.

"He's a lot better than you," I said.

Pain seared from my cheek no more than seconds later. Isaac's expression once again changed, this time from anger to worry.

"Oh god, (y/n) I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry-"

"Stop," I cried, tears streaming down my face. "Just stop." Isaac moved toward me but I stuck my hand out, making him stop. "Just give me Dan's location. Please. I'll do anything to bring him back home." There was a pause between us before Isaac spoke.

"Anything?"
