After our strange confession time, Dan and I decided to play Mario Kart in an ultimate competition to the death. As we were racing through the Yoshi Circuit, I was stopped from my first place streak when Dan abruptly pausing the game. I was about to begin protesting before Dan cut me off.

"Are we going to tell Phil when he gets home?" He asked. I rolled my eyes at him.

"I mean, of course. Why wouldn't we?" I replied.

"What if he kills me?" I tried to stifle my laughter after that.

"Dan, he literally ships us," I said. He gave me a confused look before I continued. "I'm serious. When I told him how I felt about you, he legit said that he shipped us." I watched as Dan processed what I had said before nodding and turning back to the TV, continuing the game. It wasn't long before Phil came home.

Walking into the lounge, Phil instantly stopped in his track and looked at the two of us. "There is a change in the atmosphere!" He gasped. Dan paused the game once more as I turned and gave Phil a smirk.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, giving him my most innocent smile. Phil pointed at the two of us before yelling some more.

"What happened between you two?!" I covered my mouth, trying my best to hide my laughter. Phil looked at Dan, practically pleading for him to answer. Dan nodded, rubbing my back as I started to cough from laughing too hard. Looking up, I watched as Phil shot his arms into the air. "Finally!" He yelled out before hugging us both.

"Oh my god, Phil, I can't breathe," I mumbled after a few moments. Phil let us go, bouncing up and down like a child on his birthday.

"I'm making dinner tonight. It's going to be great! Everyone's favourite foods!" He said, running down the stairs with, what sounded like, pure excitement. Dan turned to me in complete awe. I giggled slightly before turning to the TV once more.

"He's so excited," he mumbled. I gave him a small shrug. He sat for a moment before shrugging as well, continuing with the game.
