"Just quit!"
Ruby blurted to Sierra before sipping her warm beverage as she and her friends were gathered, sitting comfortable in a coffeehouse.
Quit? I'm not a quitter and I'm not letting that...man run me away. Sierra sighed as she raised her cup to her lips.
"I don't think she should quit." Nikki grinned. "Even if you wanted to, I don't think he would let you."
Sierra snapped her gaze to Nikki, eyes narrowed with attitude that trickled into a frown. "Wouldn't let me? What do you mean?"
Nikki rolled her eyes. "Come on Sierra. It's obvious that he likes you."
"Pfft." Sierra huffed. "He's an arrogant, little pissant asshole who ejaculates to mind fuckery and thinks that everything is a game, including people."
The girls exchanged curious glances.
"So...that sounded a bit personal darling, " Ruby lifted gaze to Sierra and quirked her brow. "are you sure you're telling us everything? You aren't leaving out any details now, are you?" Her jeered wonder oozed into a smile while taking another sip of her drink.
Sierra released a longer sigh as the vision of their last kiss flashed from memory. As if the replay was slowed down just for the moment, she became flustered from the reminder of his slender yet strong hand, pressed to her body, exhaling while recalling the warmth of his touch. Her eyes narrowed at the images of his lips against hers, swaying soft in a slow rhythm.
Damn...he is a good kisser. She yanked her lip with her teeth in frustration, not realizing her friends watched her with curiosity.
"Uh...Sierra?" Kate called.
Sierra snapped out of her daydream. "No. No details." Her blank stare followed a rough tone that left her friends wondering of her truth.
"Hmm...I have to agree with Nikki. I think he likes you Sierra. It's almost like the little boy in school who would pick on you because you're his crush. It's kinda cute considering I haven't see you with anyone in God knows how long." Ruby stated.
Sierra rolled her eyes as she took another sip of her drink. "Can we move on to something else, like Kate's Halloween party next week?"
"Dismissive as always..." Ruby muttered.

"Bro, it isn't the same when you're gone."
Taehyung's lips curved into a wide grin as he listened to the voice of his best friend on the other side of the screen while sitting in the kitchen nook of his loft, consuming a hot cup of tea.
"Is that because I'm not there for you to spend all my money?" he cocked a teasing brow as a low chuckle rumbled from him.
"Hmm...and speaking of money, are you suffering yet? You're not too pansy ass to renege on the bet are you?"
Taehyung took another sip of his tea. "I told you, I'm here for business, not pleasure."
"Yeah yeah , I'm sure you've tried with someone." Jimin smirked.
A vision of Sierra was sure to conquer his thoughts while listening to Jimin's taunts about his lack of sexual conquests in America. Their last conversation looming a slow haunt, recalling her tone. He was still bothered by the fact that he upset her.
Wonder what she's doing? I'm sure she's still upset with me. I should...no no no...or...yeah I should.
"Jimin..." he interrupted. "I have to go."
