Jungkook raised a brow as he walked towards Taehyung's bedroom. It baffled him to see his door wide opened. Low grunts and loud breaths were audible for him to hear but there wasn't body in sight to attach them to.
"Um...Tae?" Jungkook called as he proceeded inside with caution.
"Yeah?" A breathy reply was relayed following another grunt.
Jungkook peered around until his eyes fell to the floor. He shifted his weight to one leg and rested his chin between his thumb and index finger, smirking at the scene before his eyes.
More heavy grunts bellowed from below as Taehyung pushed himself up and down from the ground in quick but steady motions. Sweat glistening from his caramel skin, slow dripping like honey down his back. His damp, amber fringe dangled his face.
Jungkook scoffed low, not even the least bit surprised on the scene playing before him. "So...you want to tell me what's going on, or?" He wondered as he eyes wandered his friend.
Upon his last lift up, Taehyung hovered himself from the floor, body perfectly parallel while rough breaths escape him as he fought to hold his balance.
"Nothing's going on." Taehyung spoke fast in order to secure his concentration.
Jungkook nodded as his tongue swiveled against cheek. "Mmhmm..." He hummed.
An opened mouth sigh echoed the room as Taehyung stood straight onto his feet. He pivoted his neck until a crack from it sizzled the air. Taehyung grabbed his bottle water and took a short stride over to his window sil, staring out as he wind down from his workout.
It didn't take a rocket scientist to decipher his attitude of silence and avoidance to determine the reasoning for his behavior.
Jungkook walked closer toward him, leaning against the wall next to where Taehyung stood. "Something is going on. You've been working out like a maniac for a couple weeks now. You're throwing yourself in your work and I haven't seen Sierra near our office since that day we had the outage. What happened?"
Hmm...Sierra...she won't even look at me anymore. Taehyung thought as he continued to stare out. Beyond the top of the skyline, hovered by an overcast, the physical of what appeared before him failed to translate mentally. Though his eyes wandered about the architecture and nature, the vision beyond his eyes was one of a sweet toffee coating and lips that spoiled him with caramel kisses. Not forgetting her eyes that hinted sweet and harbored sexy.
You can't hold me the way you do, whispering seductively in my ear and kiss me. It's not fair to either one of us and you know it.
Words spoke from a voice sultry yet soft reminding him of the last time they spoke.
"Mmm..." Taehyung hummed as his lips pursed his bottled water, taking deep gulps, hoping to drown his thoughts while quenching his thirst.
Not that it would come close.
"I told you already. Nothing. She is my employee. I am her superior and that's the way it is." Taehyung ignored the sting but it resonated within him.
Jungkook shook his head and sighed. "Fine. You don't want to talk, then I will."
Taehyung blinked but remained staring out.
"I know you Tae. I know how you are when it comes to women and you're different with Sierra. You actually like her."
Taehyung scoffed. "Apparently you don't know me very well." He turned toward Jungkook. "I don't do relationships, remember? Sex is what I have time for and bet aside, I have too much to do here to even worry about that."
