Sierra woke up smiling as she snuggled into Taehyung's arms. She glanced up at his soft, sleeping features as a slight grimace haunted her own. Nights like the one they spent will soon cease, and her heart sank to know the one thing she didn't want to do, was now the thing she didn't know if she could live without.
"Why did I have to fall in love with you?" She whispered low, afraid to admit it aloud.
Not wanting to alarm Taehyung, she shifted a little, and the moment he felt her move, he held her tighter. "Where are you going?" He mumbled-his voice heavy with a rasp lingering in.
If Sierra were to count the small tidbits she'd miss about Taehyung once he goes back to Seoul, this would be one of them. Being the source of someone's comfort wasn't something she has experience with. "Nowhere. I was making myself comfortable." An instant nervousness quaked Sierra as if he heard her private confession. "Are you a light sleeper, or were you only pretending to sleep?" She wondered.
Taehyung smirked. "You tell me. This isn't the first time you've been asleep in my arms." He opened his eyes to see the almond swirls of Sierra's peering up at him. "Good Morning."
"Good Morning." She grinned. "Did you rest well?"
"Mmhm, and you?" He asked.
"Yeah. Like a baby." She answered.
Taehyung smiled, holding Sierra in his arms. As much as he enjoyed making love to her, intimate moments like these were what he cherished most. He leaned in, placing a tender kiss on her forehead, body tingling from the way his lips pressed softly against her skin. "Are you hungry? I know we didn't get to our dinner till three am."
Food was the last thing in Sierra's thoughts. "No. I'm not hungry." She spoke low.
Taehyung lifted a brow, catching the tone in her voice. "Are you okay, Sierra?" A hint of worry surfaced him, wondering what harbored in the mind of the woman he loves. Part of him had a clue about her feelings. Though silent, Taehyung knew his leaving lingered in her more often than she wanted to admit.
Sierra sighed. "How long are we going to dance around the pink elephant wearing a blue tutu?"
A chuckle escaped Taehyung. "Depends. Will it dance for us if we ask it to?" He teased.
With a tapered stare, Sierra smacked her teeth. "Funny." She firmed as she rolled on her stomach, facing Taehyung, who blushed while watching the way Sierra's curls fell into her face, making her appear cute with little effort.
"Talk to me. Tell what's on your mind, and I'll tell you what's on mine." Taehyung stated as he pushed a curl behind her ear.
Sierra was suddenly curious about what could be on Taehyung's mind and if they were harboring similar thoughts. "Why don't you tell me what's on yours?" She asked.
The gentleman in question cleared his throat as a rush of nerves surfed throughout him. His eyes twitched before they wandered Sierra's curious gaze. His heart shook as if it fell from a ten-story building. "I, um, wondered if you would like to come with me to Seoul."
Sierra lifted her brows.
"For a wedding," Taehyung spoke with haste once he noticed Sierra's reaction.
"A wedding?"
"Yes, Sierra. A wedding."
A deep exhale eluded Sierra's lips. "When are we going to talk about you leaving New York?"
Taehyung scoffed before a slight tug on his lip. "We are talking about it now."
Sierra shot him a narrowed stare. "No, you ask me about going with you to a wedding."
