After the presentation, Yejun expressed his admiration and how impressed he was with Sierra. This made Taehyung happy, knowing that pleasing the Kims' wasn't a simple task.

"So how long have you been dating Sierra, son?" Yejun asked as they prepared to leave.

Taehyung darted a look over to Jungkook, who grabbed the remainder of his belongings and dashed out of the conference room.

Yejun grinned before a low chuckle, "It was nothing Jungkook said. You made yourself obvious during her presentation. The way you looked at her, it's the look I used to give your mother when she worked for me." Yejun sighed. "Gosh, that woman. She was a firecracker. Very confident. Great at her job. She certainly kept me straight." Yejun reminisced.

Taehyung frowned as he listened to his father. "D-Dad, I-"

"It's fine, son. I just pity her when you have to come back home. Tomorrow morning, I'm meeting with Miss Baxter to discuss finding your replacement. I don't see you being here any longer than two months tops. You did great, Taehyung." Yejun stated as he patted Taehyung's shoulder.

"Thank you," Taehyung spoke low as his thoughts carried him miles away from his present state.

"Well, you can finish up here. I'm headed back to the hotel before dinner tonight. I'll see you and Jungkook later." Yejun lifted his briefcase from the table and exited the conference room.

Taehyung smiled as he remembered the small interaction he had with Sierra before the presentation. The tension they've built was too overwhelming for him to handle, and he was ready to be rid of it. Taehyung was always used to getting his way, but with Sierra, his way didn't matter.

He was all for her.

A notion occurred to Taehyung, and with a burst of confidence, he collected his belongings and headed back to his suite.

"Jungkook, could you page Sierra and tell her to come to my office, please?"

Jungkook nodded.

Taehyung placed his things on his desk and checked his phone before answering a few emails to kill time. This helped him to gather his thoughts while waiting for the woman he loved.

Sierra sighed after receiving the CEO assistant's call but did as she was told. She left her department and soon rounded the suite's corner, recognizing that Jungkook was missing from his desk, and Taehyung's door opened.

What the hell? She thought. Sierra paused to collect herself.

The silence between her and the CEO since their argument plagued her. After having lunch with her friends, Sierra considered more of his invitation. The desire for her to go with him to Seoul was one thing, but hearing Taehyung admitted that he loved her was what spoke louder than anything. Sierra smiled, realizing how much she loved him too, but it didn't erase the fact that he lacked confidence in their future.

Shouldn't he want to be with me if he loves me? She thought. Sierra knew she needed to apologize for how she left things and give him another chance to explain.

She took a deep exhale before proceeding to Taehyung's office. Once entering, her breath escaped her body as she gazed at the CEO leaned against his desk, marigold locks of hair falling with little effort against his face. Not to mention the pure white collared shirt he wore was a snug fit against his well-defined physique.

Taehyung peered up the moment he sensed another being in his presence and smiled at his visitor. "Miss Harper?" He called.

"Mr. Kim, sir," Sierra answered, relieved that her breath had returned.
