Taehyung tossed and turned on the couch, mind in a marathon, thinking of the woman that lied quietly asleep in the other room.
After deciding to continue his stay for the retreat, he and Sierra went down into one of the many gathering rooms the hotel held for a small social as part of the events on their itinerary. He maintained his professionalism and she did the same, networking with other individuals and keeping their distance from each other for the most part.
It wasn't something he enjoyed.
The vision of her smile that highlighted what he deemed as her very perfect frame was the kind of imagery that kept blood flowing to his heart. Once in the vicinity of her, new memories are created for him to dream on. With every glance at her, swallowed him in wonder of what is it about her that's captured him and fear of how she kept him prisoner from his urges.
Sierra wasn't like his prior conquests. Grant it, sex was always better for Taehyung, given how the only thing he was married to was his career. The only companionship that interest him was with who laid beneath him during a hot moment and he was content until he was ready to move onto the next. This was his life and how he planned to live it until he felt the revelation for a change.
Was making this bet the foundation for such change?
Taehyung couldn't lose face in front of his friends. He had to show them that six months without sex would be a breeze. Though it was one of his favorite pleasures of life, it wasn't a means of survival for him. He viewed it as a past time at best, a reward of a hard day's work.
Sex was a prize that he wouldn't never grow weary of the claim, though somehow, he began feeling that there could be something bigger and better.
Taehyung's thoughts took him back to his first meeting with Sierra. At first glance, she was nothing he would ever deem himself of assisting to his claim at the end of the day. Once learning she would have the pleasure of seeing him more than she most likely wanted, he saw her as an easy way to win the bet. She would be his million dollar date and he could have cared less about sleeping with her.
Something however changed.
Though privy to his advances, she shut him down on more occasion than one. Taehyung pride himself on being intuitive to the opposite sex and what they yearned for, most of the time it being him but not Sierra. No matter how much he made her breath hitch or how his heart fluttered from the sight of her, she wanted nothing more than just a working relationship.
What became easy prey for extra cash was now a challenge, a desire to explore what it was about Sierra Harper that made him doubt his whole demeanor and explore he did.
The first kiss.
Kissing meant little to Taehyung. He kissed his conquests just for the foreplay, a means to entice his arousal more knowing the wetter they became the better fuck they would be.
Kissing Sierra wouldn't be any different, or so he thought.
The moment his lips brushed her, sparks kindled within him, awakening his senses to something more that just a mere touch of another's lips to his. Sierra lips felt like pillows of plush satin, softer than feathers and sweeter than the best cotton candy served at the world's fair. Decadent and piquant were just a morsel of her, a tease that coveted him.
No way in hell someone would feel this good to him. He needed to debunk this.
Nothing could have prepared him for the kiss she laid on him. The sensations he felt then still crawled in his veins like a drug that never loses it's effect, turning him into a junkie for her and leaving his theory confirmed. She felt better than good, Sierra felt heavenly to him. He would die a million deaths if this is what was waiting for him after his last breath.
