New York City.
Eight point six million people.
Five boroughs.
One smitten billionaire.
Being away from Sierra was more difficult than Taehyung imagined. They agreed after their flight on Friday back to the city that a little distance would be good for them during the weekend. Though Taehyung wasn't completely thrilled on the idea, he knew it would give them time to think about what happened in New Orleans and how to proceed now that they have returned to New York.
Taehyung took this time to think of what transpired between them. He also noted the many times he whispered his true feelings to Sierra and she hadn't responded in anyway to them, confirming that she didn't hear him. He wasn't sure of how he felt about this. Never has he ever felt this way for anyone and his emotions caused him to overthink and second guess.
This made him a bit apprehensive.
Even after admitting his feelings, there was still a fright that trembled inside him. Sierra was right about her cautionary reasoning of him leaving to go back home and knowing that may happen sooner than later created a new set of worry about them.
Being back at work Monday didn't make this any easier.
With every passing glance at the woman that captured his heart, controlling his feelings as well as his urges were harder than he imagined. Butterflies swooned inside him as visions of last week with her harnessed his thoughts and swung him into an arousal that not even the coldest showers could erase. His imagination took him several places with her and he ached to have her in his arms, holding and kissing her.
He missed her when she was only a heartbeat away from him.
Taehyung cleared his throat before speaking during their routine Monday morning meeting. He gave a quick rundown of his trip and shared some ideas he wanted to incorporate with the company. When addressing Sierra, he fought to maintain his professionalism but the moment he came in contact with her soft seated, mahogany eyes, he felt himself unraveled inside. However, outside he submitted a pleasant smile to her dispite his struggle.
Sierra nodded, granted him a similar sentiment.
Being able to control her thoughts on Taehyung wrestled her as well and showcasing otherwise was harder than she'd imagine. The many times she chanted to herself to stop thinking of him, especially the way he felt inside her, sent her on a throbbing frenzy. Every time her eyes closed, she could feel his breath against her skin, moaning and whispering sweet, sexy nothings that drove her off the edge.
Staring at him now was even more of a challenge.
The way his thick, butterscotch tresses curtained his forehead and fell on the sides of his face, tempted her to run her fingers through them, gripping his strands while taking his plush lips for a deep, sensual kiss. Noting how his navy suit clung to him, made her calculate the many ways she would undress him, praying the opportunity to do this would come sooner than later. Sierra blushed on this thought.
All weekend she pondered her feelings for Taehyung.
There was no doubt that she liked him but she wondered more instances than one if her feelings ran deeper than just a like. She knew she was past a crush and admitted quietly on having a mild infatuation with him early on, after his incessant charm grew on her. However, seeing the sincerity that he obviously held for her, including the way he handled her, warmed her heart beyond just a care. Her heart fluttered as she caught her breath on this thought.
Sierra glanced over at Jungkook who eyed her with a tapered, curious gaze. She widened her stare a bit, making him smirk as he turned his attention back to Taehyung who was still speaking with his team.
