Although it was a little challenging at first, El was soon having the time of her life, playing stupid childish games with her fairly childish friends in the pretty blue sea. El's curly hair was riddled with salty water and sticking to the sides of her face, she and Max were having equally severe laughing attacks over something Will said, when Max's friends showed up.

"Oh! My friends are here, I'll go grab them, sit tight guys."

Max rushed out of the water, pushing her long hair back as she went and she approached her friends, hugging all of them individually and acknowledging each other's new appearances and such.

Max motioned her Hawkins friends over, Dustin and Lucas went out first, seeing as Will and El were viscously teasing Mike about his sopping hair.

"Dustin, Lucas, this is Alaska, May, Peter, and Eric." Max introduced them, Lucas took her hand, subtly letting her California friends know that she was his girlfriend.

Will jogged up next to Dustin and stuck out his hand friendly like and smiled brightly.

"Hey, I'm Will, you guys must be Max's friends, it's nice to meet you." Will said, shaking hands with each of them and learning their names.

"What is taking Mike and El so long?" Max said, turning back to see Mike grinning and tucking a curly lock of chestnut hair behind El's ear.

"Mike, El cmon!" Dustin shouted, which caused El to blush profusely out of embarrassment.

The two joined hands and walked up the beach to Max's friends. Mike took notice that one of the boys, tall (but still shorter than him) with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair was eyeing El.

He understood why to be honest, El was wearing a black two piece swimsuit, and her long legs, sun tanned skin, and pretty smile with dimples on her lightly freckled cheeks didn't go unnoticed.

But Mike didn't want this guy getting any ideas about his girlfriend though, but he also didn't want to come off as 'the jealous boyfriend'. So he simply held her hand. That was enough to get it across right?

"This is Mike, and this is El. Mileven, meet Alaska, May, Peter, and Eric." Max said, pointing them out.

"Nice to meet you guys." Mike said docilely, El gave a small smile.

"Yeah, nice to meet you." El said shortly after.
She took a moment to go over the appearances of these new people.

Alaska was fairly tall, with lightly tanned skin. She had long straight strawberry blonde hair that was was tied up in a ponytail, and she had hazel colored eyes.

May was a bit shorter, around El's height, with wavy highlighted brown hair, that was down and reaching just below her shoulder blades. She had bright blue eyes and paler skin.

Peter was the tallest of the group, around the same as Mike and Lucas. He resembled May quite a bit, El thought they might be twins, as Pater had the same colored hair, eyes, and skin. His hair was slightly curlier than May's.

And then there was Eric. He wasn't as tall as Mike, Lucas, and Peter. He had Blue eyes, no freckles, fairly short dirty blonde hair, and it was straight. El met eyes with him.

She got a weird eerie feeling looking into his eyes, and immediately looked back at Max, plastering a smile on her lips. She subconsciously moved closer to Mike, which he took notice of, of  course.

"We were thinking we could go get lunch somewhere, you know, get to know each other better." May said, Peter, Dustin, and Lucas were in a conversation already, El was listening in on Max, Will, and Alaska's conversation, occasionally speaking up. Mike was subtly watching El while he and May chatted about their plans for the day.
