He makes me get lost in his grip. He makes me so happy. He makes me feel same and when I'm in his arms I feel like I'm home. Wherever he is, is home. "Uh Clementine? You okay?" Louis asked. "Huh? Yeah.." I said as I drove. He looked at me. He's worried.. "Lou, I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me." I said as I put a fake smile on my face. "Clementine I don't need you lying to me. I'm always gonna worry about you." He said as he held my hand. I started to tear up. He put on something on the radio.

At home
I opened the door and heard a voice. "Clementine!!" It was AJ. He ran into my arms. "Hey goofball." I said as I started to cry. "It's Alvin Jr." He said with tears in his eyes. "You'll always be goofball to me." I said as I wiped his tears. "Jeez you're hugging me like I was dead." He said. "I just missed you fool." I said. He giggled. "I was enjoying the quiet." He said. I pushed him and he gave a grumpy face. I giggled. "How was the trip sweet pea?" Dad asked. "Oh uh...it was...fun." I said with a sad look. Mom and dad were confused. I can't tell them. "I'm really tired from the drive so I'm gonna go to bed." I said.  I went upstairs into my room and got a text from Louis.

L-If you need anything and I mean ANYTHING, let me know okay

C-Thanks Louis, im just gonna get some rest, I'll call you tomorrow

L-Okay for sure, goodnight beautiful

My phone went off again but this time it was Marlon.

M-Hey sis. How are you holding up?

C-I'm holding it together somehow

M-You wanna hang out with Brody and I tomorrow?

C-Um sure why not

M-Well I'll invite Louis, we can have a double date.

C-Sure I don't mind

M-Are you gonna tell your parents what happened at the lodge?

C-I....I can't Marlon. My dad will lose his shit and my mom will be a crying mess. Of course AJ would ask a million questions

M-Well I understand why your dad will lose his shit. He'd probably murder Gabe. And AJ is AJ. Nosey asf

C-Besides I don't want to go to court and see his face so...yeah...

M-Dont worry about it. Louis and I will keep you safe, you know that.

C-I know. Thank you for you know..taking care of Gabe. I appreciate it.

M-No problem. Your my sister even tho we aren't related 😂

C-So what did you guys do with him?

M-Well I was gonna take him to the cops but Louis idk felt bad or something and gave the kid a chance to change his life around and stay away from you

C-Felt bad? He felt bad!? Gabe tried to rape me!

M-Clem, relax. It wasn't like that. It's not my place to say but Louis was arrested once and had the chance to change his ways so he's giving Gabe that chance

C-Louis was arrested? For what?

M-Ask him, He's never told me but you understand where I'm coming from?

C-Yeah well I gotta go to bed. See you tomorrow.

M-Sleep tight

I laid in my bed for hours and I couldn't fall asleep. I walked around my room, read stories on Wattpad, watched movies, I just couldn't fall asleep. I had too much on my mind. I got up and put clothes on. I put on my hat as I crawled out my window and onto my roof. I looked up at the sky full of stars. I started to tear up as I remembered that night with Louis. Ugh why won't he just ask me out already. Friends don't just have sex. Unless all he wanted was a one night stand...I let out a sigh as I put my arms around my freezing body. I texted Louis.
