Chapter 17 | Chill Nights

I decided to have a sleepover, I don't care if I'm 'too old' to have one. I'm lonely. I invited Louis of course, Brody, Vi, Minnie, Marlon, Duck, Mari, Sophie, and AJ invited Tenn. AJ and I set the house up.

"So Gabe's in jail now?" He asked. "Yup." I said as I set blankets on the floor. "So have you ever had a sleepover before?" He asked. "Nope." I was somewhat depressed. I don't know why. I've never really let my depression take over. Ever since my biological parents passed, I've had depression but I learned how to control it. "What's wrong Clem." AJ said with a worried tone. "Nothing kiddo, I'm fine." I muttered. "No you're not Clementine. It's okay to not be okay." AJ said as he hugged me. I got to his level and hugged him back. I started to cry a little. "It's okay Clem, you have dad, mom, Louis. You have me." He said. "I know..." I mumbled. "I love you Clem." He said. "I love you too, AJ." I said. I got up and wiped my tears. "Hey, how about I order us some pizza." I said. "Yes!" He cheered. "Okay, okay, calm down." I giggled as I pulled my phone out from my pocket. "You chose the movie and I'll order Domino's." I said. I ordered the pizzas online. Mom pulled in the driveway. "Hey honey." She said as she saw me. "Hey mom." I said. "What are you doing?" She asked. "Just ordered pizzas for the sleepover." I said with a smile as we walked inside. "That sounds good." She said. I nodded. AJ picked the movie, Fast and Furious 6. I love the Fast and Furious movies. Obviously because I love fast cars. "Good choice." I said. He smiled. "Let's go out our pj's on." I said. "Race you." I made a smirk. "Oh you're on!" AJ shouted as we ran upstairs. I put on a pair of yoga pants and Louis' hoodie. I ran out of my room. "Too slow!" I shouted. He opened his door. "You talk too much." He said as we bolted down the stairs. I hopped over the couch. "Beat ya." I said. "That's not fair. You are bigger than me." He said as he climbed over the couch. I giggled and he smiled. "Your excuses makes me laugh." I said. "Well your face makes me laugh." He said. "Does not." I said. "Does." He said. "Oh yeah?" I asked. I grabbed him by his feet and held him upside down. "What are you doing?" He asked. "My face makes you laugh huh?" I asked. He started laughing. "Okay, okay you win." He smiled. I put him down. "Look who's the tough guy now?" I asked. He rolled his eyes.

There was a knock on the door. "Race you!" AJ said. I hopped over the couch. I opened the door and AJ pushed me. I fell but Louis caught me. "Jeez you missed me that much?" He giggled. I turned around and looked at AJ. "You cheated." I said with attitude. "Oops." He said as he giggled. I rolled my eyes. Everyone was here. There was another knock on the door. I pushed AJ and he fell. I got to the door. "Pizzas are here." I said. I gave the guy a tip and I placed the pizzas on the coffee table. "You cheated." He said. "Now we are even." I said. Everyone ran over and grabbed slices. I brought plates over and we ate.

I pressed play on the movie and we watched it. We finished Fast and Furious 6 and put on 7. After 7, we watched 8. Soon I realized it was 1 am. "Damn it's late." I said. "Yeah it is." Brody said. "You know what, I'm bored. Let's play truth or dare." Marlon said. "Again?" Mari said. He nodded. "Alright." I said as I sat next to Louis. "Truth or dare, Louis." Brody said. "Hmm I'll have to say truth." He said. "What's your favorite feature about Clem?" She asked. He looked over at me. He smiled as we made eye contact. "Her beautiful eyes." He said. We never broke eye contact. I smiled and turned pink. He leaned in and kissed me. "Okay Marlon's turn." Brody said. "Minnie, truth or dare?" He asked. "Let's do dare." She said. Marlon looked at the ranch dressing on the coffee table. He smiled. "I dare you to drink that whole thing of ranch." He said. We all laughed a little. She grabbed the ranch and swigged it like it was alcohol. "Alright it's Vi's turn." He said. Vi looked at me. "Clementine. Truth or dare?" She asked. "Imma have to say dare." I said. "I dare you to yell something dirty." She said. Everyone smiled. I rolled my eyes. Hmm, what should I say.....oh I know. I looked over at AJ and Tenn. "Cover your ears you two." I said. They nodded and covered their ears. I smiled. "DADDY YES!!" I yelled. We all bursted out laughing. My dad opened the door. "What the fuck are you guys doing?!" He yelled. "Truth or dare dad, relax." I said. I rolled my eyes as we continued to laugh. "Okay, okay, Clem your turn." Vi said. "Sophie, truth or dare?" I asked. "Dare.." She said. "Remove your socks with your teeth." I said. She turned red. "That's impossible." She said. "No it's not." I said. She started biting at her feet. We all started laughing. She finally got her socks off. She started laughing too. "Okay I got a good one, Duck truth or dare?" She asked. "Dare." He said. "I dare you to stop a car that is going down the street and tell them that their wheels are turning." She said. We started laughing. He nodded. I took my phone out to record. He stood in front of this car. "Ma'am there's a problem with your car." He said. "There is? Oh my gosh, what's wrong?" She asked in a panic. She got out of her car and looked around her car. "Your wheels are turning." He said. She looked at her wheels. Then at him. She slapped him and drove away. We all started laughing. He came back inside. I turned my phone off. "Okay my turn." Mari said. "Brody, truth or dare?" She asked. "Dare." She said nervously. "I dare you to fill your mouth with water, and each person in the group must tell the funniest joke they know. If you spit out the water, you have to eat a spoonful of cinnamon." She smirked. "Fuck." I said laughing. Brody got up and put water in her mouth. Louis stood up. "Hmm..." I stood up. "Here's my joke." I said. I pushed Louis to the floor. We all started laughing."What was that for?" He asked. "I don't know." I said. "Clem you have to tell a joke." She said. "Oh" I said as I laughed. "Okay I got one. AJ, Tenn go upstairs." They nodded and ran upstairs.

"Why was the guitar teacher arrested?" I asked. "Uh why?" Marlon asked. "For fingering a minor." I said. Brody spit the water out of her mouth. Everyone looked at me with shock. "What?" I asked. "Damn Clem, I didn't know your mind was that dirty." Louis said. I started laughing. Soon everyone started laughing. "Alright Louis, truth or dare?" I asked. "Hmm, fuck it, dare." He said. I smiled. "Open my front door and howl like a wolf for 30 seconds." I said as Brody put a spoonful of cinnamon in her mouth. Louis nodded. We recorded him. He started howling. We all started laughing again. "You're such an idiot." Vi laughs. He closed the door. "He's my idiot." I said as I laughed. "Okay Clem, any other dirty jokes?" Minnie asked. "Hmm, got it. Why does Santa Claus have such a big sack?" I asked with sarcasm. "Umm...I don't know." Louis said. "He only comes once a year." I said. We started to laugh. "I got another one. What do you call a lesbian dinosaur?" I asked. "I don't know Clem, what do you call a lesbian dinosaur?" Vi asked with sarcasm. "Lick-a-lotta-puss." I said. "Wow." Vi said as she started laughing. "C'mon, another." Brody said. I nodded. "What does a penis and a rubik’s cube have in common?" I asked as I started to laugh. They looked at me with smiles on their faces. "The more you play with it, the harder it gets." I said. We all burst out laughing. "God damn." Marlon said as he continued to laugh. "Alright, I got one more." I said as I caught my breath. "What do you call two jalapeños getting it on?" I asked. "It's hot?" Duck asked. "Fucking hot!" I yelled. We all started laughing again. My dad came downstairs. "Can you keep it down." He said. "Fine, dad just ruin the moment." I said with an attitude. "What's so funny anyway?" He asked. "Uh..." I mumbled. "Dirty jokes?" I said. He rolled his eyes and went back upstairs. We all settled down and went back to watching Fast and Furious 8. I cuddled with Louis. He held me close. We ended up falling asleep on the couch. I was on top of him.

General POV
Marlon noticed Clem and Louis sleeping. He walked upstairs and grabbed Clem's blanket. He came back down and placed it over them. He then laid next to Brody. Vi fell asleep with Minnie in her arms. Sophie and Mari fell asleep with their stuffed animals. They had a long, fun night. They don't have many chill nights like these but when they did, they enjoyed every second.
