Jace Herondale

Simon drops you off at the Institute after you hung around him and Clary after his band's show. It was a- it was something.

You head upstairs and see a boy you haven't seen yet. You've only been there for a day or two and haven't met everyone. But this boy was plain gorgeous. He has golden eyes and golden blonde hair.

he smirks at you as he passes by. "see something you like?" he asks and keeps going.

you find your way back to your room and drop on your bed. the image of the golden shadowhunter plays again in your mind, and you know you have to have him.

"hey Y/N. were going hunting in a few. wanna come?" alec asks from your door.

you sit up and nod. "gimme a sec to change and grab my stuff. be ready in ten."

he nods and smiles. "see you then. well be in the library." he says and leaves.

you go over to your gear and grab pants, boots, a tight black T-shirt, and your jacket. you quickly start to change and out of the corner of your eye, you see someone walk by and you remember your door is open.

you realize you're topless as well. you hurry over to the door and as you're pushing it shut the person stops. its the boy from before.

he smirks slightly and you stand there frozen in shock. he raises his eyebrows and takes a step closer.

"Jace." he says evenly, a hand coming up to your hip.

"excuse me?" you ask in a choked voice.

"my name is Jace." he replies.

"oh okay. my name is Y/N."

"well Y/N, its great to meet such a beautiful girl."

you blush furiously and he moves a hand to the back of your neck. he brings his lips down to your own softly.

you pull away after a while and his eyes are shining beautifully. "i um- have to finish getting dressed." you say awkwardly.

"i like this look on you though." he says and winks as he walks off.
