To live without internet, is to not live.

Internet is life! I started saying that a couple of months ago when I went without it for (too long) awhile. I meant it literally at the time, and now it has become a mantra that can be backed up by very obvious facts. Here are some in my favorite format; bullet point.

-You can find love on the internet. Is it always the type of love that lasts? Of course not, but most don't.

-You can buy anything off the internet. And when I say anything, I mean ANYTHING.

-You can watch TV on the internet. Even better you can binge watch whole seasons of TV shows if you know the right sites – I know those sites.

-You can exercise on the internet. You can't technically exercise, but you can watch exercising videos that could help you become motivated enough to exercise.

-You can have food delivered, or made to be picked up, off the internet. And you can't live without food.

-You can learn anything on the internet. And I don't just mean by Googling everything, but that's definitely a good way.

-You can make friends on the internet. The kind of friends you never have to go out to hang-out with, and so you can continue to be the hermit you were born to be. (You know, if that's your thing).

-You can connect with the friends you already have that you hang-out with outside the house if you aren't a hermit, or too shy, or too busy writing or reading to be bother with trivial things like a social life.

-You can listen to music on the internet. Enough said.

-You can watch movies on the internet. That's not as easy as TV shows, but there are sites for that too.

-You can read on the internet. And on that subject...

-You can meet the author(s) of the book you happen to be reading on said internet, and talk to them about how great you think their book is, and also find out about upcoming releases and other great things they are doing.

-You can ask someone a question you otherwise wouldn't have the guts to say to their face. And that goes with telling someone something as well.

-You can promote your work and/or talent on the internet, be it singing; writing; beat-boxing; rapping; painting; drawing; eating; sleeping; driving; being funny; walking; talking; break-dancing; flying; surfing; swimming; jumping and anything and everything else out there that you might be able to do.

-(If you are that type of person) you can get your fix of bad on the internet by illegally downloading things. No judgment here; do you is what I say.

-You can go to school on the internet. Even grades lower than college, which is great for those who are too smart for their own good.

-You can also do lots of other things but some of those things are inappropriate and others are just not going to be mentioned, because who has the time for that?

So yeah, internet's life. My brother even said that it'll one day take over the world, and let's be honest here it's already on it's way. But why worry about the inevitable when we can embrace it?

I'll leave you with that little tidbit to ponder in my absence, and I hope when I do come back you'll bless me with those reads I so cherish.
