Today, I would like to talk to you about Troye Sivan. (I love him)Troye Sivan is quite a popular youtuber. You might be thinking 'What does this have to do with music?' Well, Troye recently released an EP called Trxye. If you go onto itunes, it should be in the recent releases.
I decided to talk about Troye, and his album today, to make a point. Troye is gay. Its a common fact. How many famous gay singers do you know of? One, maybe two?
The reason that there aren't many gay singers, is because record companies are always worried about their clients image. If someone is gay, then there won't be any fangirls, who think that they might have a chance to marry him. No fan girls, equals no money.
Record companies are not only worried about their clients sexual orientation, they are also worried about other things. If the person is hideous, they won't get signed. If the person is quiet, they won't get signed. Sometimes, I feel that the artists don't even have to have any talent. We have auto tune, and songwriters now.
I know this isn't everywhere, but this is just something that I have noticed.
Now that the serious part is over, I would like to share with you my ten top songs of the month.
