Chapter Twelve
"Oh my God!" My hand flew over my mouth. "I totally forgot!"
I panicked inside. I started crying again. My heart was in my throat. I was afraid. I was sixteen! Pregnancy was not an option for me. Even if it was Niall Horan's baby. Louis grabbed me back into a hug.
"Ssh," he tried to calm me, "it's okay, you're okay. I'm going to give you my number. I want you to take a test and text me either way, okay?"
I was hyperventilating and crying hysterically.
"It's okay, calm down." He stroked my hair.
"Okay guys, it's time to get on the bus. Does everyone have all their stuff?" He looked at Harry who was walking up to us.
"Don't look at me, my bags are already on the bus." Harry held his hands up.
"Go double check your room." Paul said as Zayn came down the hall holding something up.
"Harry, you forgot your phone charger!" He called.
Paul rolled his eyes. Louis let go of me and I hugged Niall.
"Oh Niall," I was still half-crying, "we didn't use anything last night!"
"I know, I just thought of that! I'm so sorry!" He started crying again.
"I'm scared!" I cried
"So am I! I promised I wouldn't hurt you! I'm so sorry!"
Paul put his hand on Niall's back, "you guys got everything ready?"
We let go of each other.
"Yea." Niall said. "My suitcase is right there."
"Okay." Paul smiled sympathetically, "The bus is out back. Come down when you're ready."
"Thanks." Niall and I said at the same time.
Paul smiled and walked away with Louis.
"I love you." Niall whispered in my ear.
"I love you." I said softly.
He held me.
"We should go." I whispered.
"Yea." He let go of me but still held my hands.
I smiled as we looked into each other's eyes.
Was this the end? Did I only have three more hours to spend with the boys before I'd never see them again? I hoped not. I prayed that wouldn't be my fate. I honestly, truly loved Niall. I know that love doesn't just sprout out of the blue over a span of less than 24 hours, but I genuinely felt like this was an exception. I felt, since Niall was famous and I'd been a fan for two years, like I sort of knew him. Not as well as a friend from his childhood, obviously, but moreso than someone who'd never heard of him. I may have known about him, but until the concert, he'd never even seen my face before. But he acted like he'd known me his whole life. And when we walked outside to the bus holding hands, it felt so normal. Like we had known each other forever. We loaded the bus and drove away. Was this heartbreak? I'd never felt so down. So sad. So broken up about a boy. Was this love? It hurt and felt good at the same time. I guess when they say love hurts, they're not kidding.
There was a little table and a few couches that we sat around. I sat in between Niall and Louis, across from Danielle and Eleanor at the table, Zayn and Liam occupied the couch, Harry was sleeping in a reclined chair, Paul was sitting beside the driver, and Lux, her family, and the rest of the style team followed behind us in a separate car. Zayn and Liam were playing video games and at the table, we were playing cards.
