I have plenty of other Clem X Louis stories on my profile. Check them out for more Clouis content.

Clementine

The girl with the baseball cap had texted Louis to meet her at his car, where she had been waiting for the last few minutes. Honestly, she was not expecting him to come. But, she had several things to tell him.

Leaning against the passenger side door, hearing the unlocking noise of the car, it scared Clem as she wasn't expecting it. Spinning on her feet, Clem saw the dread head boy standing there. He had actually come, and was ready to talk to her for the first time in weeks.
His arm was still in the thick cast.

"Hey. You came." Clem spoke with a smile, almost sounding breathless.

'Of course I did. I would be an asshole if I ignored you for much longer.' The boy wrote in reply, acknowledging his recent actions.

At the same time, both teens stepped into the privacy of Louis's car. That way, they could talk about the events of the last few weeks with no interruptions.

"So, I don't know if you heard but Derek got expelled." She said, cutting to the chase.

Louis felt his eyes widen, not expecting to hear it. 'You're serious?' He wrote, needing further confirmation.

"Yep. I overheard him in the corridor and what he did to you. I also know he was bullying you long before breaking your arm." The brunette spoke, looking over to the boy.

He looked so shocked that justice had been served. "He isn't coming back to this school any time soon." Clem further confirmed.

Louis covered his lower face with his good hand, to muffle his loud sob. But, it wasn't a sad crying this time. It was one of relief, that he never thought would come. It was the beginning of the end for the bullying and relentless miserable school days.
Louis looked over to Clem, not sure what to write. She just gave him a small smile with slight arched brows, confirming all of his thoughts.

'Thank you so much for everything. You're the blessing I don't deserve.' He wrote. As she read it, Louis wiped his tears with his sleeve.

"I'm just being a decent person. Unlike Marlon and Violet." She muttered the last part, but knew the boy heard it. After all, there was no denying that his close friends knew about the bullying. Instead, they took the cowards option and decided to ignore it and let Louis suffer in silence.

Feeling the need to explain himself, Louis began writing a long note.
'I'm sorry for ignoring you and pushing you away the past two weeks. I thought ignoring the issue would make it go away. I realise now that I wasn't the only one hurting - you were too.'
The note continued, 'I read all of your texts and voicemails and it hurt me so bad knowing that you felt that way, even if it was all out of your control. You felt guilty for what happened to me, even though it wasn't your fault. Please don't blame yourself.'
Adding on the end, Louis wrote 'But, I knew that I didn't want to loose you too. You're too precious to me.'

This was the most Louis had ever opened up about his emotions in the last 4 years. He was making himself vulnerable, for a girl, and for the first time, didn't seem to mind. Everything was worth it when it came to Clementine.
Watching her facial expression as she read the note, he saw a flash of many emotions. However, the one that caught his attention the most was appreciation.

"Ya know, I was in pretty rough shape the day I first visited you in hospital. Just ask Nicky." Clem retorted, trying to lighten the conversation.

'I know, she told me all about everything you did. For me and my family.' He wrote back.

Louis

After having this much needed deep insight talk with Clementine, the dread head knew he had to put things right with his mum. After all, he said that she failed as a mother - which was a lie.
Texting Nicky, Louis had typed out a message to his mum. The only chance she would know he was serious was through sign language or text, since his lack of voice.

Louis: I'm sorry for what I said in the hospital. I was hurting and mad. I didn't mean it. You're the best mum, plus dad, possible and did everything right. I love you.

Nicky: I love you too Belouga. I know you didn't mean it. This whole thing has been hard on you, so I understand that. I'll forever be your two in one❤️

Pulling his attention away from his phone, he was now fully focused on the precious girl before him.

"We're cool?" Clem asked, with a raised brow.

'Were cool.' Louis confirmed in writing.

There was a brief pause. But the air was clear of everything now.

"Can we get to work on this project again now?" Clem asked shyly, hoping for a good reply.

Louis nodded, with a small smile. Writing down, he also wrote 'Any chance of a kiss before we do?' And sheepishly awaited her reaction. He also hoped for a good reply.

Clem grinned at the boy, glad to know that she wasn't the only one feeling that way. Giving her trademark line, she whispered "As always, tap my left leg if you want me to stop."
And leaned in to kiss the healing dread head boy.

This time, there was an underlying noticeable eagerness about the boys actions. Rather than being shy or reserved like the last two brief kisses, he was pursing his own lips to Clem's. He was finally gaining confidence around the girl.
On instinct, Clem gave in to what he silently wished for.
Still allowing Louis to set the pace, the brunette girl decided to run her hand through his dreads. His hair felt so rough, but so soft at the same time. That's basically how Louis was too - rough and soft, in his personality.

Again, the kiss only lasted a few seconds.
Disconnecting from each other, the pair were left to view each other. As always, Louis's cheeks were dusted in a red hue from the intimate moment. After everything they've been through, her touch would forever make the boy nervous.

Signing, "I love your smile." Clem knew it would cause a positive reaction. She was desperate to see it.

In response, Louis smiled a genuine smile for the first time weeks. And Clementine knew it was real from the small glistening in his golden eyes.

Those golden eyes that were no longer looking for a desperate way out.
That damn smile.

Clem and Louis didn't know what they were. Definitely more than friends, but not official. They've never brought it up, which meant they weren't officially dating. They haven't even been on a date.
But, the mutual feeling was they liked each other and shared kisses as well as precious moments together. That was the most Louis had ever shared anything with anyone, other than kindness.

She got her happy Louis back. And, this time, she wasn't going to let him go.
