I don't know how many chapters this story will have, but I don't want it to end. This story is so close to my heart, and I hope it is to yours.
It's some of my best work, in my opinion. So, just thank you to everyone that has continued to read this story.
Clementine
Sat at the same milkshake bar from earlier, Louis and Clem were sheepishly sat next to each other in a corner booth, while their friends joined them. It was weird being with a large group of friends again, since Clem and Louis grew to enjoy just each other's company.
But, Violet and Marlon were also their friends. There was also Brody and Minerva there too.Louis and Clem had been there before, and so they had their order already ready. This time, there was no fries around. Shame, since Clem craved them.
"It feels like forever since we all managed to meet up." Violet spoke, happy to see her friends together again.
Brody nodded in agreement, before speaking. "It's nice though, being able to talk again as a group."
"I agree. It's been too long." Marlon spoke up too, with his arm around Brody's shoulder.
"Same. We've just been busy, with stuff." Clem smiled.
In a quick conversation change, Violet leaned forward and quizzed the pair. "You two have been radio silent for the last few days. What's been going on there?"
Louis and Clem gave each other a knowing look. With a defeated sigh, the short girl spoke the truth. "Me and Louis are official."
There was a slight mix of reactions from the group. Marlon and Violet were sharing a grin with the blonde boy saying "It was only a matter of time before it happened."
And the blonde girl responded "Hell yeah."
Brody squealed in excitement, showing she approved. "Minnie, you owe me $10." She said.
Minnie just eye rolled with a more lack of reaction.'Wait, you put a bet on us?' Louis signed. Which was basically ignored by the pair.
Taking a sip of her Pepsi, Violet then spoke again. "When did this even happen?"
Signing, Louis explained 'About 2 weeks ago. After our first date.' With a smile on his face.
"Damn. Who asked who?" Marlon questioned, growing interested. He was looking back and forth at them.
Clem answered it this time. "It was me that asked him to be official."
'Even if she was half asleep when she asked me.' Louis added, teasing her.
Growing annoyed, Minerva slyly retorted, "Shame that Louis didn't have the balls to do it first."
That comment made the boy with dreads frown. He never thought that anyone in particular should be the first to ask out the other person. Gender roles like that are dumb.
Writing her own note, Clem aimed it to her new boyfriend. "Ignore her. She's just miserable about everything to do with me recently."
At her girlfriends comment, Violet narrowed her eyes. "Hey, that's not fair. Why would you say something like that?"
Minerva scoffed, sipping on her drink. "What? It's true. We all know that Louis uses the accident as an excuse for everything bad that happens to him." and that caused a chain reaction.
