Clementine

Clem and Louis had met up another time for their project, but it was less dramatic than the last times. But, the company was the same - enjoyable. Clem was starting to get to know Louis a little more, but he still remained guarded and wary at times.
Other times, such as being at the milkshake bar, he's almost fully out of his shell. Clem just couldn't figure him out.

It is currently early morning, just after first period. Louis and Clem were planned to meet up after school today, in their usual library spot.
At her locker, before the next lesson, Clem was grabbing random books from her bag and shoving them into the metal compartment. Hearing a slight commotion, she turned around to see some kid harassing Louis, who was by his own locker.

From a distance, she couldn't hear what was happening or being said, but witnessed the whole thing.
The kid had snatched the notebook from Louis's hand, before flipping through it. The dread head attempted to grab it back, but the bratty kid had swiftly moved away before he could reach.
By now, the pages were being flipped open, and looked at by the kid. It was an obvious attempt of humiliation and invasion of privacy.

Clem felt her body temperature steadily increase, in anger.
Having seen enough, Clem slammed her locker shut and headed straight for the kid harassing Louis.

"Oi! If you know what's good for you, you'll back the fuck off. Right now." The short brunette yelled, approaching the situation.

The kid, notepad in hand, turned to see the new girl approaching. The unknown kid smirked, smugly, before opening the notepad to a specific page.

"Clementine, the new girl. What a nice surprise. I'm sure you'll want to see this." He said with the most gross tone. Handing her the notebook, Clem looked down at the open page to see what he was on about.

The contents on the page wasn't what she was expecting. It was drawings, from sketches to full body drawings, of herself.
Louis had been drawing Clementine.

Admittedly, it was a shock to see herself drawn on the page, several times. It was a little weird, knowing Louis had been doing that when she wasn't paying attention but they were good drawings. Thinking, Clem didn't particularly mind it.
After all, there was definitely a talent there.

Keeping her hard exterior, Clem just shrugged and looked up at the tormenting kid. "What are you showing me this for?" She asked, not amused at all.

The short kid seemed a little taken back by the comment, as if expecting more of a reaction. "I just thought you would like to see what he's been drawing." He said. The tone the kid used was vile.

Clem snatched the open notepad from his hands, closing it in the process. "Why would I care what he's been drawing? For all you know, I let him draw me and you're just assuming. Maybe you should stop with the assumptions and focus on yourself. Cool?"

The whole time, Louis had just been waiting and watching to see how this would turn out. And it unfolded differently to normal, which was normally a punch or shoved into lockers.
After the snarky remark from Clem, the kid soon left after that. This was one of the first times anyone had defended Louis against the other kids, and he didn't quite know how to feel.

"Here, I think this belongs to you." Clem said, strangely smirking, passing the sketch book back over to the boy.

Eyeing her in suspicion, Louis swiftly took the pad in his own hands and tucked it under his arm, protectively. After seeing no further negative reaction, he responded.

He moved his hand in the sign gesture for 'Thanks.' Which Clem had just learnt the other day.

Shrugging calmly, she responded "No problem. See you after school." And just walked away.

It was a strange situation. Louis was expecting more of a reaction, specifically a negative one, from the short girl. After all, she did just see his secret drawings of herself in his private sketch pad. The dread head just felt glad that she wasn't the one to punch him. After all, she would have every reason to.
But, he still had to face her after school for the English project.

Louis

It's finally after school on that same day, but Louis couldn't go home like he wished to. Him and Clem had this stupid English project to continue. And continue it for another few months, as it was a large task.

Since the sketch pad incident this morning, Louis and Clem hadn't seen each other all day. Not because they were avoiding each other, it was just their time tables didn't snatch up on that specific day. But, he wouldn't have to miss her cheery presence too long as she would appear in the library soon enough.

"Hey Belouga." Clem spoke, grinning from ear to ear.

Louis just eye rolled at the nickname. She had been using it a lot since Marlon told her about the name. Not that he minded, because it sounded nice coming from her.
In response, the boy just waved at her while placing her bag on the table.

"Ready to get some exciting English work done?" She huffed, moving her hair away from her face.

Louis moved his hand in a so-so motion, showing his lack of excitement.
And the pair got down to business for a couple of hours, as usual.

Reaching over to his questionable sketch pad, with those drawings of her in, Clem hovered her hand over it. Swallowing nervously, Louis looked up at her face hoping to see how she felt. But, she was already looking straight at him.

"Can I?" She politely asked, casting a glance back at the book she was hovering over. Louis slowly but surely nodded his head, giving her the go ahead.

With permission, Clem grabbed the book and started to flick through each page. One by one, she saw all of his art pieces. Not just of her, but of many things.
People, landscapes and animals. All of them, in no particular order.

"Why didn't you tell me you could draw so good?!" Clem asks in bewilderment. Catching onto her choice of words, she retracted it, "Sorry. Is that insensitive? With you being mute and all."

Louis just gave a small smile and shook his head, showing no offence. Clem smiles back, eyes scanning his features. The slight red hint on his cheeks couldn't be ignored.

Focusing her attention back to the sketches, she finally landed on one of her. It was her, dressed in her classic jeans and t-shirt combo, with a slight smile on her face. It was like looking in a mirror, from how realistic it looked.

"Wow. You really have a talent for this, huh?" Clem said, in awe. She lifted her head, to look at the dark boy. He was just sat there, watching her reaction.

Writing down, he said 'You don't mind?'

Reading the note, Clem asked "Mind what? You drawing me?" She confirmed. Louis nodded.

"Nah, I'm not. I would be bothered if you got my nose wrong though." Clem joked, handing the sketch pad back a second time today. At the comment, Louis laughed.

'Noses are probably the easiest parts to draw. Eyes are the hardest.' Louis wrote down, passing the note over.

Clem just laughed before replying "I wouldn't know. I can barely draw a stick man." And earned another genuine laugh from the boy sat next to her.

After going quiet, Clem randomly questioned, "Hey, wanna come over to my place one day after school, to do the project?"
