Clementine

The following Monday was fairly normal, both for Louis and Clem. The pair had not spoken since Saturday afternoon, but that's okay because they were busy on Sunday.
The nagging doubt could not be shaken off by Louis though. What if it was a big mistake like last time?

The first period bell was yet to ring, meaning school hasn't officially started yet. Louis was doing his standard routine, which was being at his locker and sorting any books out for the day ahead.
The boy with honey eyes, felt a pair of Amber eyes on him. It didn't take much effort to guess who it was.

Suspiciously and slowly turning around, Louis instantly saw her. In all her glory.
Clementine was at her own locker, watching him with an unknown emotion in her eyes. He waved over to her. Once being caught, she hastily spun back to her own business. But she had already had been caught, and the dread head was silently giggling to himself.
He was on cloud 9.

Louis was never the type to check out girls, not since the accident. But, after the events of Saturday, he could not resist a sneaky glance at the girl that captivates him.

On her top half, was a flowy off the shoulder top. Her tied up hair, plus the top, perfectly showed off her tan shoulders. Her skin was just begging to be-
Her usual light jeans were an acid wash style, with no rips below the knee - for one reason only.
Everything was so flattering on her, yet it probably took no effort. The whole vibe Clem radiated was effortlessly stunning.

Quickly jotting something down on a piece of paper, Louis had it at the ready.
He wiped his hands on his own jeans, hoping to get rid of the nervous sweat growing on the palms. Swallowing his little remaining pride, and prepared to be embarrassed, Louis closed his own locker behind him and headed straight for the unsuspecting girl.

Seeing his tan boots from under her locker, Clem raised her head and saw exactly who she suspected.

"Hey Lou!" She greeted, extra cheery than usual. The huge grin on her face couldn't be ignored either.
Louis reflected her grin back, and passed her a folded up note.
Taking it from him, their fingers lightly grazing. The spark from the contact was there, but more noticeable after the Saturdays events.

'Can I walk you to class? Only if you want.' It reads.
Beaming to herself, Clementine looked up to view the boys awaiting face. The entire situation was adorable, but the blush creeping up his face made it even more so.

"Of course, you can." She sweetly replied, shutting her locked closed. The pure happiness on his face made Clem just want to protect him from the world.

And together, the two of them set off down the busy school hallway.

Leaning on one wall was Sarah, the girl that Clem told off on her first day after joining the school. Sarah was full blown staring at Clem, with nothing but hatred in her eyes. It made no sense for someone to hold that much bitterness.
Easing an arched brow at her, Clem decided to slip her small hand into Louis's large hand. Sarah's face grew red with anger at seeing the exchange.

Drawing her attention off the irrelevant girl, Clem noticed that Louis had entangled their fingers together and was already looking at her.
His facial expression showed nothing but glee. Clem smiled at him, no words being spoken.

What the pair also didn't know, was that Marlon was also watching the entire events unfold before him. The blonde boy was casually leaning against the wall, pretending to listen to what Brody was saying. In actuality, he was too engrossed in his best friends action.
He smugly grinned lob sided to himself.
