This is part two to the last chapter. Read that before this one.
Clementine
Pulling away from the intense kiss, Louis realised that they had somehow ended up fully laying on the floor. With him on top supporting his weight with his arms, and Clem underneath with her arms wrapped around his neck to get closer.
Louis fully sat up, lending a hand to the girl so she could lean on the rock again. She happily accepted.
She began to smooth her clothes down, after noticing they started to wrinkle in the heated moment, just before.
There was a comfortable silence between them."Well then, that was an experience." Clem said, giggling, breaking the silence.
Louis laughed in response. 'I guess it was.' He wrote.
Intrigued, Clem asked "So, how was that compared to previous kisses?" Slightly sheepish.
'Seemingly a lot more intense, even if I can't feel a whole lot.' He joked.
A new thought came to the girls mind.
"Can you teach me some more sign language?" Clem asked, in hopes of learning more.Moving his hands in a rhythm, he said 'How was your day?' And then wrote it down so she understood what he signed.
Copying his actions, it wasn't long before Clem was able to say that too. "Ok, now let's have a sign language conversation." She spoke in hope.
'Sure but it won't take long before you get lost.' Louis wrote in reply, snorting.
Then, the pair had their first full conversation in sign language.
Louis started with, 'Hi, I'm Louis. What's your name?'
Responding with, "I'm Clementine. How are you?"
'I'm doing good. You?' Louis signed back.
"Amazing. What's your favourite colour?" Clem asked.
'Green. I hope yours is orange.' The boy signed, jokingly.
"Mine would be purple, actually." She retorted, growing slower at the response.
Laughing, Louis wrote down 'That was good for a beginner.' Which brought a smile to her own face."What was it that you signed to me, on one of the first times we met? You said it was complex to explain but I want to know." Clem asked, remembering the interaction.
Writing down, the dread head questioned her. 'Do you really want to know?'
"Obviously, otherwise I wouldn't ask." Clem teased, growing more interested.
The boy huffed, then decided to tell the truth. 'I said you have nice eyes.' He finally wrote.
Clem widened her Amber eyes at that new information, having not expecting that.
"Really? That's cute." She gushed. It was a simple compliment but made her feel mushy inside.
'Don't let it inflate your ego too much.' He wrote, jokingly in reply.
Wanting to be comical, she retorted "Don't worry, I won't." With a wink.
With the boys drawing in her hand, she smiled at the reminder from minutes ago.
At this point, the overwhelming tiredness was becoming hard to ignore for Clementine. Her heavy eyelids threatened to shut, until she was able to pry them back open.
